We have grown to just under 90 experiences listed on santafecreativetourism.org. Many new handson experiences have been added from flamenco dance classes to traditional jewelry making workshops. We have also seen the release of Creative Tourism: A Global Conversation, a book inspired by the Santa Fe International Conference on Creative Tourism that took place in the fall of 2008. This is the first book of its kind on Creative Tourism and should be required reading for anyone working to promote a destination that offers customized creative, and meaningful travel experiences.
By hosting the 2008 Santa Fe International Creative Tourism Conference, Santa Fe has taken a leadership role for worldwide cities interested in promoting their creative of the world, and is so different from the economies.
