I'd love to see some more advanced bike maintenance classes. I took the original five and have found them to be invaluable (though I could use a refresher on the bottom bracket class).

Putting some more powerful fans in the shower rooms would be great. They are fine during the cooler months but get incredibly humid and funky when it's even mildly warm out.

I'm already impressed. The only improvement would be impossible for you: better shower & locker facilities. People changing in the showers means they take extra time and cause others to wait. Having a more smaller shower units and then a private men's/women's changing area would be better.

Maybe for my alternative route. I come in from Hollywood. Would maybe like to bike from Hollywood to SM once in a while and then get on the Malibu bus. My normal route is to bus to Culver City, and then bike between CC and SM.

I don't work in Santa Monica anymore, but I'm maintaining my SM Bike Center membership because it's a great resource for when I am in Santa Monica and I want to see more bike centers throughout Los Angeles. Keep up the great work, everyone!

this service needs a long term resident parking option. the turnover rule of 48hrs (or whatever) is bulls*t. You would have more members if you had a separate area for long term bike parking for apartment renters in the city. renters need long term solutions instead of getting notes on our bikes and charged a fee to remove a bike boot. This is why I cancelled my membership, among other reasons.

I absolutely love the woman who mans the store in the mornings (Marianne, maybe?) She is SO nice and SO sweet and caring and always has a cheerful smile and something nice to say in the mornings. Whatever you're paying her, it isn't enough.
