Staff at Steele Lane Community Center are enjoying getting to know the seniors who recently came over from Bennett Valley Senior Center. In December, the Silver Singers held their first Holiday Chorale Concert in the DeMeo Room to an audience of about 80 people. If you like singing, this is a fun activity to join. We are still looking for a pianist. If interested, please contact Mickey Remy, Coordinator at (707) 543-3285.
The pool players are having fun in the new billiards room, and we have a new bingo caller on Mondays and Fridays, 11:30-2:30pm. There are many other drop-in activities for you to try such as Tai Chi, Ukulele, Bridge, Mah Jong and more!
Thank You Volunteers & Community Partners We want to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers and community partners for helping the City of Santa Rosa’s Recreation & Parks Department to provide quality and affordable senior programming. Without this support, many of our Activities and Events would not be possible. • Chick-fil-A • Covia Communities • Senior Expo sponsors, donors and vendors • Family law attorneys (legal clinics) • Guest speakers • Santa Rosa Sunrise Rotary Club • Santa Rosa Junior College • Sonoma County Builders • Many individuals, instructors and volunteers!
