Did You Know? Tips to live drought friendly The City of Santa Rosa is asking the community to reduce water use by 20%. Together we can help extend our water supply through this drought. The Recreation and Parks Department is also doing its part to cut back. For the past two seasons, the department has been practicing deficit irrigation for park greens to optimize water usage and will continue this practice this year. The department has also made repairing irrigation problems a priority to minimize waste. In addition to these efforts, the Department will reduce water use in our recreation activities by reducing the hours of the water play feature at Howarth Park (weekends only) and eliminating high volume water-use activities, such as slip and slides at our summer

programs. Thanks for considering making some small changes of your own to help conserve. Below you will find some helpful tips. Remember, every drop counts, and small changes
