SPORTS AND CULTURAL COMPLEX
Final Design Studio Lvl 10
The intention of this PFC project is the redesign of a public space with the implementation of a sports and cultural infrastructure, developing said project in the district of Barranco in the area where the Luis Gálvez Chipoco Municipal Stadium is currently located.
The Sports and Cultural Complex (cDc) comprises two buildings, one sports and the other cultural, and a large public space where sports, art, education, and culture can be developed in the best way, serving not only the Chipoco area but also the the different districts of Metropolitan Lima.
A sports and cultural complex that provides users with a space to play sports, recreate and enjoy urban life that generates a sense of community and social interaction. Repower, reorganize and recycle the existing program with the implementation of the necessary equipment for sports, education and community interaction.
“We want to create a great public space where children, youth, adults and seniors can carry out activities that involve sports and culture with the best equipment, creating spaces where they meet to interact and create quality urban life.”

NEW ENTRANCE
A large porch that is formed by the existing entrance and some columns of the new structure.
PEDESTRIAN ROUTE
The building receives the pedestrian path and becomes part of it, generating a tour inside it as well.
CONNECTION OF SPACES
Reorganize the space and form a building that connects different activities that take place in the place.
VISUALS
The open facades were designed so as not to create barriers and have a great visual wherever you are.
STRUCTURE
A new roof for the school is proposed to function as a floor for the new structure of the cultural building.
Master Plan
The Chipoco area in Barranco is a very active area in the field of sports, since the Municipal Stadium is located, but there is a deficit that neglects the main needs for proper development of the sport. There are also educational institutions very close to the land that use this space and provide their students with a space where they can develop both physical and cultural activities.

MUSEUM
The project consist of creating a Museum of Modern Art on a corner of a very busy avenue. The interesting thing about the location of the project is that is located within a cultural axis of the city, that cointains cultural buildings and public facilities. The most striking thing about the project is the permeability and the spatial relationships inside and outside, making the project a completely transparent and spatially very striking building. The interior circulation is done through ramps that are located on the side facades, leaving the entire central space for the use of the museum program.

MUSEO DE ARTE MODERNOAGORA: A SPACE FOR EVENTS AND SHOWS FOR LIMA
Design Studio Level VIII
A new cultural and leisure hub is proposed in the Miranda Park in Miraflores, an urban space defined by emblematic buildings such as the Marsano Theater and the Miranda Residential Building. The workshop invites the student to read and understand the city from its pre-existence. On one hand, a series of opportunities are identified in the urban void, such as public spaces, courts, patios, parks or retreats, on which temporary and flexible pavilions are proposed that will host the most important festivals in the city (in this case the Festival of Perfomance Art); structures that can be adapted, transformed or even dismantled.
On the other hand, it is proposed to reinsert the Miranda Residential Building to the new dynamics of the place. It seeks to transform its exclusively residential use into a multi-program building, a structure that will be re-signified and re-activated from the generation of new voids, the implementation of new programs, the insertion of new circulation systems and the creation of spaces groups for the meeting.

LANDSCAPE INTERVENTION “MORRO SOLAR” LIMA, PERÚ
Landscape Architecture Course
The Morro Solar is and has been one of the most emblematic natural spaces in the history of Lima. Not only historically but also culturally and in recent years it has been an attraction for extreme athletes.
Currently Morro Solar is suffering from invasions by settlers who position their homes on the slopes of the hill, a space that has been declared an intangible zone, not only due to its importance within the city but also due to landslide risks. What was sought in the project was the realization of a precise intervention in the place of the hill, mainly respecting its identity as a rocky surface, to mitigate future invasions
A super complicated area due to the proximity of human settlements that was resolved through the use of a pedestrian mall that can accommodate various uses, whether commercial or social gatherings. An oasis in the lower part of the hill, to create a super plaza with natural shade.
MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING
Design Studio Level VII
The project consists of a longitudinal multi-family building on a rectangular plot of land. The interesting thing about the project is that the first floor was going to be used as an open plan where stores for commercial use were going to be located. From the second level, flat-type apartments of 90m2, 180m2 and duplex were going to be found. One of the design strategies was to locate the apartments at the sides of the volume, leaving the entire central bay for the use of circulation and access to the apartments. Bridges and walkways were to be located throughout the central part of the project. On the last level is the common area of the building, where residents have different leisure and entertainment spaces for common use, specifically for residents. The project is closed with a interesting roof, through the use of slopes and holes for the insertion of the treetops.

The proposed market is a 100% removable building thanks to its metal structure. What is sought with this is to make a building that not only serves as a market itself, but as a space that can be used in the future for another architectural program, thus generating a hybrid building.
