This was made in Trimester 6 for a Design Research module. As part of the brief, we had to choose an Australian designer label and conduct research on the brand - its target market, competitors, strengths and weaknesses etc. As I was not able to gather massive amounts of insight data from the company of research (Aje), I redirected my focus into collecting data from the public and how they perceived the brand to be. In this submission, we also had to design a capsule collection, inspired from our findings about the researched brand as well as come up with a motif that bests represents the selected brand. In my case, I felt that nail polish best represented Aje, a label known for its sequins and effortlessly luxe persona.
