BUNNY WILLIAMS TOP NEW YORK Bunny Williams is one of the great interior designers of the United States. She opened her interior design company in 1988, after 20 years of working for a decorating studio - Parish-Hadley Associates. Bunny has also launched a collection of furniture and accessories known as Bunny Williams Home. Since 1991, she co-owns a garden furniture and ornament shop in New York, with antiques dealer John Rosselli, extending her love of design to beyond the interiors.

GENSLER TOP NEW YORK Gensler is a multinational design and architecture firm. In 2012, it generated the most revenue of any architecture firm based in the US for the second year in a row. Founded by Art and Drue Gensler, and their associate, James Follett in 1965, the firm originally focused on corporate interiors, but has since diversified into numerous forms of architecture and design, including commercial office buildings, retail centers, airports, education facilities and entertainment complexes. Today the architecture and design firm features 46 operational offices in 16 countries worldwide, including Australia. It is also involved in planning and urban design, brand strategy, environmental graphic design, mission-critical facilities, sustainable design consulting and other areas.

JONATHAN ADLER TOP NEW YORK Jonathan Adler is a potter, designer and author. He owns a design company that’s dedicated to bringing “grooviness to your home” with pottery, furniture, rugs and stationary. Creating lavish interiors for venues including the Parker Palm Springs Hotel and Planet Hollywood Las Vegas, Adler has also designed for fashion house 7 For All Mankind. Adler launched his first ceramic collection in 1993 at Barneys New York and, five years later, he expanded into home furnishings, opening his first namesake boutique in Manhattan. Adler’s inspirations have come from mid-century modern, art and global pop culture and, because of that, he is best known for his “happy” interior designs and line of home furnishings.

MESHBERG GROUP TOP NEW YORK Founded in 2006 by Adam Meshberg, the Meshberg Group is a Brooklyn-based practice that focuses on integrating timeless architectural elements of the past with contemporary materials and methods of the present. Their design principles revolve around sustainability, branding and modern technology, always focused on how contemporary life evolves to better tailor their design solutions. Together with his incredible team of interior designers and architects, Adam Meshberg develops unique projects, always with the client in mind.

ROCKWELL GROUP TOP NEW YORK Founded in New York in 1984 by one of the top interior designers and architects David Rockwell, the Rockwell Group creates the most extraordinary designs all around the world. The group of over 250 people with offices in New York, Madrid and Shanghai specializes in a wide array of work from luxury hospitality, cultural and healthcare projects, to educational, product and set design. Some of the greatest works created by David and his team include the interiors of Nobu and the W Hotels, the exuberant Mohegan Sun Casino, the pop-tastic scenery for the Broadway musical ‘Hairspray’ and the sublimely hilarious high-modern sets for ‘Team America: World Police’. RYAN KORBAN TOP NEW YORK Ryan Korban is one of the most popular and in-demand interior designers in New York and in the entire United States of America. Even though he was born in Philadelphia, it was in New York, the capital city of design of the United States, that Korban’s professional path exploded and where he presented some of his most stunning design projects to date. In the past few years, Korban jumped to the spotlight of the design industry and, since his luxury debut, his work and style have been making headlines on the top design magazines on the planet. Without any formal training, Korban developed his unique aesthetic, characterized by a mix of luxury, old-world romance and urban cool. Drawing on inspirations ranging from Monet paintings to Helmut Newton photographs, he creates seductive, wondrous spaces that surpass the trend to redefine traditional design for a new generation.

SASHA BIKOFF TOP NEW YORK Sasha Bikoff is known for her balanced understanding of design, flawless execution and technical know-how sculpted from her vast worldly exploits and experiences. Bikoff’s style is heavily influenced by the multicultural flavours of her hometown, New York City, and from her experiences traveling abroad. In her projects, her remarkable line-up of brands and products break design rules and inspire a lavish yet eclectic lifestyle.

ALBERTO PINTO STUDIO TOP PARIS The historical founder of the Alberto Pinto Studio was the late Alberto Pinto, one of the biggest icons of French interior design that, during his life, built his works on the mixture of styles. Always refusing to conceive narrow and closed spaces, he naturally oriented himself towards “big projects”. Used to taking on challenges which would scare others away, he particularly appreciated being given gigantic spaces in which he would put together different styles, always in perfect harmony. After he died, his Studio carried on. Today, the Alberto Pinto Studio is considered one of the top design studios in France and, by maintaining this status, it has honoured Alberto Pinto’s memory and legacy.

CHRISTIAN LIAIGRE TOP PARIS Christian Liaigre was born in La Rochelle, France in 1943. He studied at the Paris Academy of Fine and Decorative Arts and taught drawing at the Academy Charpentier. After spending 10 years as a horse breeder he decided to open a studio in 1987, focusing on interior architecture and furniture design. His first project to win acclaim was the refurbishment of the Hotel Montalembert in Paris in 1988. Christian Liaigre has made himself known by his refined, high-quality work. Through good use of space and light, he bases his design on local cultures and traditions, choice of materials and a special love of arts and crafts. According to the words of the designer, confort does not lie in trivial affluence but in delicacy and rareness. Only this designer is able to combine modesty with great elegance.

GÉRARD FAIVRE TOP PARIS Gerard Faivre, recognized as one of the best contemporary interior designers, created the concept Gerard Faivre Residence, apartments, and luxury properties completely renovated, furnished and decorated with fully integrated hotel services. To create an original work of art, Faivre imbues himself with the soul of each property. For him, each site is both a blank canvas and a source of inspiration.

INDIA MAHDAVI TOP PARIS Koichi Futatsumata was born in Kagoshima, Japan. After graduating from the Department of Engineering and Architecture at Kyushu Industrial University, Futatsumata set up the design unit “CASE-REAL” and started his incredible professional career as an interior designer. Thanks to his amazing design solutions in the areas of space, architecture and furniture, Futatsumata has exhibited his work at various exhibitions domestically and internationally.In 2013, Futatsumata set up “KOICHI FUTATSUMATA STUDIO” where he developed his product design practice further.

JACQUES GRANGE TOP PARIS Jacques Grange is, without a doubt, one of the best interior designers and decorators in the world. Known for his exquisite style, characterized by a harmony between traditional and contemporary tastes, Grange is one of very few interior designers who received strict, classical education in the field. It is thanks to this background and early experiences that Jacques Grange is able to effortlessly mix the style and elements of different times – from Rococo opulence to contemporary minimalism. He decorated and designed interiors for some of the biggest and most respected personalities and tastemakers. His main customers included Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, for whom he decorated the Château Gabriel, in Benerville-sur-Mer.

JEAN-LOUIS DENIOT TOP PARIS Jean-Louis Deniot has been in the business of creating atmospheres for quite some time. His decors are his playground, spaces where spontaneity and magic are present. Recognized worldwide for his eclectic and emblematic interiors, Jean-Louis Deniot plays in a multiplicity of repertoires, never sticking to the purity of style. If he does contemporary, it is always with a weighty dose of history and references infused into it to produce a timeless yet timely scenario. Deniot tailors each of his projects to his client’s needs, using his travels for inspiration. His flair for nodding to past time periods and refined colour palettes is the reason he has been booked for an endless list of impressive projects.

PHILIPPE STARCK TOP PARIS Philippe Starck studied at Nissim de Camondo, a private school of Artdéco located next to Montparnasse, in Paris. At only 20 years of age, he became the Art director of Pierre Cardin and designed furniture for him. In 1976, he design the bar “La main Bleue” at Montreuil and “Les bains douches” in 1978, in Paris. In 1979, he launched his agency, Ubik, and would become famous and recognized thanks to the French president François Mitterand, that asked him to re-invent the private flat of the presidential palace, the Elysée. From that point on, the artist would never stop, between designing incredible projects or simple daily objects.

PIERRE YOVANOVITCH TOP PARIS Tadao Ando is a self-taught architect whose approach to architecture and landscape was categorized by architectural historian Francesco Dal Co as “critical regionalism”. He was raised in Japan and this country really shaped his style as an architect and designer through religion and other culture aspects. Ando’s architectural style is said to create a “haiku” effect, emphasizing nothingness and empty space to represent the beauty of simplicity. He favours designing complex spatial circulation while maintaining the appearance of simplicity. As a self-taught architect, Tadao keeps his Japanese culture and language in mind while he travels around Europe for research.

PYR has been entrusted with iconic historic landmarks as well as cutting-edge developments around the world as a direct result of the creative integrity, authenticity and craftsmanship they bring to every project. ROBERT COUTURIER TOP PARIS Robert Couturier made design history in 1987, when billionaire financier Sir James Goldsmith entrusted him with the incredible project on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Since then, Couturier has contributed to major architecture and design books. He lectures widely at galleries and at art and antique fairs, and participates in charitable and design-industry events. All in all, Robert Couturier can be said to lend a sense of connoisseurship, imagination and even experimentation to the traditional design landscape. As he likes to say himself, recalling the rich interiors in which he spent his childhood and youth, “It is to both grander and greater ends that one invents when one can start with one’s own past.”

PIERO LISSONI TOP MILAN Piero Lissoni, currently known as one of Italy’s most famous interior designers, is quite well-known for his contemporary furniture design. After opening the studio Lissoni Associati in 1986 alongside Nicoletta Canesi, he was also recognized for being a collaborator with several famous brands. A great distinctive feature of this designer is the graphical linearity present in his products, which allows them to naturally fit for both minimal contexts and creative spaces.

CRISTINA CELESTINO TOP MILAN Born in Pordenone in 1980, Cristina Celestino worked in several areas of architecture before finally focusing her attention on interior architecture and design. With that, she moved to Milan in 2009 where she created “Attico”, her own design brand which mainly focused on the conception of lamps and furnishings production. Among other relevant highlights of her career, we can point out her part in Salone Satellite in 2012, as well as her design of “The Happy Room” for Fendi in 2016. Her style is heavily based on observation and research, mixing in old and new and exploring many variations between scale, as well as small inventions with the purpose of creating new messages and meanings.

DIMORE STUDIO TOP MILAN Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran invested in the fields of design, art and fashion, and founded Dimore Studio in 2003. This duo of contemporary designers carry out every project with their own unique signature style: pieces created by historical design master artisans merged with domestic materials and other modified objects to forge a singular atmosphere. Dimore Studio interprets memories and creates dreams, crossing the boundaries between art and design, fashion and architecture.

GIULIO CAPPELINI TOP MILAN Giulio Cappelini is often referred to as an emblematic figure in the design panorama as a whole. MICHAEL CHOW TOP HONG KONG Michael Chow went on to Saint Martin School of Design and studied architecture. In his early twenties, while he struggled to succeed as a painter, Michael realized the need to bridge the East and West and to demonstrate the greatness of China. ARATA ISOZAKI TOP JAPAN The architect established Arata Isozaki & Associates in 1963, when Japan had regained its sovereignty and was seeking physical rebuilding amidst political, economic and cultural uncertainty from the decimation of WWII. He has won the 2019 Pritzker Architecture Prize in a ceremony at the Château de Versailles in France, thanks to his transnational and fearlessly futurist approach to design. With more than 100 projects, Isozaki is the 49th architect and 8th Japanese architect to receive the honor. “The City” in the Air, in the Shinjuku neighborhood in Tokyo, Japan, is one of his renowned projects in the urbanism industry.

KOICHI FUTATSUMATA TOP JAPAN Koichi Futatsumata was born in Kagoshima, Japan. NENDO TOP JAPAN Born in 1977 in Toronto, Canada, Oki Sato studied architecture at Waseda University in Tokyo. He obtained his Master’s degree in 2002 and in the same year, the designer decided to create his incredible tokyo based-design studio, called nendo studio. Now he has taken up the international stage, with offices in Tokyo and Milan. The philosophy of Oki Sato is reflected in his designs, thanks to which he transforms the interactions of people with the objects surrounding them by creating a parenthesis in their life. This desire is found in the uncluttered and characteristic shapes of his designs, to which he always adds a touch of humour and conviviality.

SHIGERU BAN TOP JAPAN Born in August 5 in 1957, Shigeru Ban is a Japanese architect, known for his innovative work with paper, particularly recycled cardboard tubes used to quickly and efficiently house disaster victims. The renowned architect has won several design awards since 1985. One of Ban’s latest architectural projects is the Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport in the city of Makinohara, where the Japanese architect designed the extension and renovation of the existing terminal building.
