Class of 2020 Realtors ® to Watch Under 40

The Young Professionals Network (YPN) and RASM are proud to announce the Class of 2020 for the first annual “Realtors® to Watch Under 40” program. Each year, this program will recognize Realtors® who represent excellence in leadership, community involvement, and everything else that makes a well-rounded Young Professional succeed in real estate. These individuals are rising stars in our local real estate community. They have excelled in their educational and professional development pursuits, have shown strength in their production and sales skills, and have passionate goals that will take them further in real estate.

They have not only survived the many challenges of 2020, but they have truly thrived. When the usual way of doing business was upended, they figured out to sustain their business safely.

“Real estate is just like coaching...It’s all about relationships! I feel my success comes from helping as many people as possible. I strive to treat everyone the right way, and develop meaningful relationships with clients who will become friends. Receiving this award is an affirmation for me that I made the right career choice. If you do the right things for the right reasons, success will follow.”

Jordan Chancey, PA

Realtor® & Broker-Associate, RE/ MAX Alliance Group - The RE/MAX Collection

Estimated sales to date: $5,849,890*

Obtained Florida real estate license: 2015

Jordan Chancey is a Realtor® and Broker-Associate with RE/MAX Alliance Group. He is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist who specializes in unique single-family homes and condos, ranch and land sales, historical homes, commercial properties as well as property management. His impressive list of designations includes CLHMS, CDPE, PPMC, ACP, SRES, and he is currently enrolled in the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) program. He earned his Broker’s license at the young age of 25. During Jordan’s first eight months at RE/ MAX, he received the Rising Star Award, as well as numerous “Top Listing” and “Top Selling” agent acknowledgments.

Jordan’s “first love” is real estate and it has been his first and only profession. He began his real estate career in 2005, right out of high school, just as the economy faltered during the infamous “real estate bubble.”

“Even with the challenging start, I knew I wanted to make it work. I took classes, earned designations, surrounded myself with industry leaders, networked, and earned my Broker’s license. I strived to absorb as much knowledge as I possibly could to be successful.”

“I especially want to encourage other young agents who are just starting out,” said Jordan. “I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard something along the lines of ‘I have socks older than you are.’ I understand that with age comes more knowledge, but we all have to find our way. This award serves as more proof to me that I’ve found my niche, my groove. Every time I help a family find a home, or help someone in a difficult situation, it’s an affirmation that I made the right career choice.

While career is important, Jordan advises agents to keep a healthy work and home life balance. While never an easy task, Jordan credits his wife, Megan HunsaderChancey, with orchestrating the constant surprises that come with raising four active children under the age of nine. While both Jordan and Megan have demanding careers, a strong focus on family and faith, and education is a cornerstone for a well-rounded and productive life.

Jordan currently serves as president of the Palmetto Historical Commission, which serves as a center to educate and preserve historical articles, preservation, and resources in the community. Along with his family, Jordan has also volunteered and supported other regional and local organizations including Ronald McDonald House charities, All Children’s Hospital, American Heart Association, Downtown Ministries Bradenton.

I still have plenty more I’d like to achieve, and this is just the beginning. I would recommend to other young Realtors® to get a mentor whom you can trust. Although the education available at RASM and through your brokerage is very useful, there’s no faster way to get acclimated than to throw yourself into the field with an experienced agent by your side. Not only will this protect you, but it will protect your customers. Lastly, this career isn’t a cakewalk, but don’t give up. I promise, with focus and drive, you can do it!”

Paige is a member of the Keller Williams Young Professionals group. She also donates a portion of her income to KW Cares, which helps agents in need.
