We'd love to help you with your home!
What's the design process? Hi there and thank you so much for reaching out! Your project sounds great and we can definitely help! We understand that selecting furniture, lights, rugs and decorative items for your home can seem overwhelming and confusing at times. I know what it’s like to spend hours on weekends trudging around showrooms choosing these things and feeling so confused and frustrated by the end of Sunday seemingly getting nowhere! We can help!
Getting the brief Firstly, we come to you for the initial brief where we drill down into the look you want to achieve, your budget and timelines. This is quite a long session where we really try to understand your lifestyle and aspirations and get on top of the look you’d like to achieve. I will ask you to prepare for this meeting by popping onto Pinterest or Houzz and collecting at least 10 images of homes or rooms that you love and we’ll drill down into these during our meeting.
If you have some spare plans to give me, that’s also very helpful. This consultation goes for about 2 hours and costs $250

The concept The next step is the presentation of the concepts, which is another face to face meeting. It’s best if all decision makers are present so we can really dive in and cover everything thoroughly and answer any questions. In this presentation, you’ll receive a document that covers each space in each room with inspirational images (to help illustrate how various elements would work in your home), layouts if necessary, and concept boards with itemised items.
Each product is itemised with dimensions, descriptions and cost. I will also have as many relevant samples I will quote this concept phase prior to beginning and it is based on an hourly rate, but to give an indication sourcing absolutely everything for a dining room, for example, would be around $1160 - $1450 (ie 810 hours).
These items can include furniture, lighting, rugs, window treatments (blinds, curtains, shutters), wall treatments (paint colour, wallpaper), art and decorative pieces. SARTORIAL | PAGE 04

Tweaks and go! Some minor tweaks might be needed after this meeting which will be updated in a couple of days. From here we work out which items to go ahead with and we start ordering. The logistics of this will need to be discussed so that we can stick to your budget and get things happening as smoothly as possible and with as little interruption to your busy lives! But it is an exciting time watching your home transform! At the end, I’ll come in, style it up and do a photoshoot of your magazine-ready home! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get cracking!

10 reasons you'll love working with Sartorial Interiors
1) We are a small firm and you will be dealing with me, the owner of the company 2) I’m pragmatic and a mum, so I totally get that sometimes functionality comes first 3) Sartorial Interiors has over 10 years of operations in a competitive environment 4) Over these years I’ve worked very very hard to build excellent relationships with my suppliers and trades. This means, that if there’s a problem, we’ll work as a team to solve it 5) I believe in providing good value for your money 6) I have 30 x 5 star reviews on Houzz (I must be doing something right!!). Think about it….it’s in my best interest to have a happy client, so you get personalised service the whole way through 7) I’m not into seasonal trends – I don’t think they’re sustainable nor do they always suit a client’s aesthetic 8) I don’t often source from retail outlets, preferring to go to wholesalers. I do put a modest margin on, although it’s less than RRP so over the course of a project, you can save 9) I won’t impose a style onto you. We will work out what you love and build on that. I will help you bring out a clear vision for you that you will love 10) I recognise and am humbled that you’ve let me into your private world and I will always be respectful of that (as will my team). Also, I have a great sense of humour!
