RISHABHDEV BHAGAVAN, THE FIRST TIRTHANKAR "He was the first king of this age and also the first ascetic. Who also was the first ford-maker (Tirthankar), my salutations to hat Rishabh Swami." -Acharya Hem Chandra According to the Jain measurement of cosmic time one cycle of time has two divisions. These two divisions, ascending time-cycle there is a gradual improvement in physical and mental conditions, including physical strength, health, happiness and simplicity, of beings as well as climatic and life supporting conditions. During the descending time-cycle there is a gradual deterioration in these conditions. The Age of the Twins During the first three Aras of the current descending cycle man was completely dependent on nature for all his needs. The wish-fulfilling trees provided all that he needed. Man was simple, peaceful and contented in attitude. The environment was absolutely unpolluted. Water was tasteful, cold, and sweet. Even the sand was sweet as sugar. The air was healthy and exhilarating. The grains and fruits were nutritious and filing. A simple meal of little quantity of fruit and water lasted for days. Filled stomach and satisfied desires acted as antidote to irritation and reduced disputes and other sinful activities. The whole animal kingdom lived in harmony with the nature. With the passage of time gradual changes occurred and around the end of the third Ara the yield from the Kalpa-vrikshas reduced. The alround deterioration in conditions spelled the beginning of quarrels and disputes. To guard against these disputes and to live in peace and harmony, man formed groups and the Kulkar system was evolved. A number of people collected to form a ‘Kula’ (family) and the head of the group was called ‘Kulkar’. It was the duty of the ‘Kulkar’ to remove discord and establish order. Nabhiraja was the seventh and the last in the line of Kulkars. His wife was Marudeva. This epoch of Kulkar system was known as the epoch of twins (Yugalia). A human couple used to give birth to a twin- one male and one female. This twin would become husband and wife on reaching
adulthood. The twins used to lead a happy and contented life and died a natural death together. To consume what was available was the way of life. As such this period was also known as BhogBhumi-Kaal or the era of free consumption. Upto the time of Kulkar Nabhiraja man lived in this land of abundance. Birth of Rishabhdev It was during the last part of the third Ara of the current descending cycle of time that the great and pious soul that was to become Rishabhdev descended into the womb of Marudeva on the fourth day of the dark half of the month of Ashadh during the night. In the ancient Jain scriptures it is mentioned that during many previous births, the soul that was to be Rishabhdev had done prolonged spiritual practices. As a result of high degree of purity of thoughts and attitude as well as penance, meditation, charity and benevolent deeds it had earned highly pious Karmas. In his incarnation as Dhanna, the caravan leader, he had offered alms and services to ascetics and others. As doctor Jivanand he had taken ample care of ailing masses as well as ascetics. As king Vajranabh he had supported poor and desolate masses. After many years of public services to ascetics and others. After many years of public service Vajranabh renounced the world and became an ascetic. As a result of unprecedented spiritual practices, including religious studies, penance, tolerance, and meditation, he earned Tirthankar-nam-and-gotra-karma. These pious deeds of earlier births resulted in his taking birth as Rishabhdev. When this pious soul was conceived, mother Marudeva dreamt of fourteen auspicious things. The first thing she saw in her dream was that a beautiful and large white bull was entering her mouth. The other things she saw in her dream are as follows: 2. A giant elephant having four tusks, 3. After the salutations the mother was put to sleep. Saudharmendra created five look alike bodies of himself. With one body he carefully lifted the baby in his hands. With the second body he took an umbrella in his hands and stationed the body behind the baby. With the third and fourth bodies he took whisks and stationed these bodies on both sides of the baby. With the fifth body he lifted his divine weapon, Vajra, and stationed himself ahead of the baby as a body guard. In this formation the king of gods airlifted the baby to Meru mountain. There, all gods, including their 64 kings with their consorts, ceremoniously performed the post-birth anointing rituals. This ceremony, popularly known as Janma-kalyanak, of a Tirthankar, is unparalleled in this world.

Next morning Nabhiraja organized the birth celebrations. He invited his friends and relatives to a feast and announced, "As there is a sign of a bull on the thigh of the new born, and Marudeva first of all saw a bull in her great dreams, we name this child as ‘Rishabh Kumar’." His twin will be known as "Sumangala". The Beginning of the Ikshvaku Clan
Birth Celebrations On the eighth day of the dark half of the month of Chaitra, around midnight, healthy Marudeva gave birth to twins. This pious birth influenced the surroundings. The sky became filled with a soothing glow, the wind became fragrant and the whole atmosphere became impregnated with unprecedented joy that was hard to describe. From all around came the fifty six goddesses of directions. They circumambulated the Tirthankar’s mother and bowed before her. They also sang in praise of the child that was to become Tirthankar and then proceeded to perform postbirth cleaning rituals. At that instant the king of gods of the Saudharm dimension, Saudharmendra Shakra, also came to know that the first Tirthankar has taken birth. He arrived with his large retinue of gods and, bowed before the mother, "O great mother! I, Saudharmendra Shakra, bow before you and offer my salutations."
When Rishabh Kumar was one year old, Saudharmendra came to Kulkar Nabhi for formalizing the family name. He carried a sugarcane in his hand Baby Rishabh was sitting in his fathers lap. When he saw the sugar-cane he eagerly extended his tiny hands to grab it. Saudharmendra gave the sugar-cane to the baby and seeing his affinity for sugar-cane (Ikshu) he formally named the family as Ikshvaku. Marriage Rishabh Kumar was married to a girl named Sunanda whose twin died in an accident. This was the beginning of the marriage system. He was also married to his twin Sumangala in a ceremony that was arranged by the gods. Prince Rishabh led a happy married life. In due course Sumangala gave birth to Bharat, Brahmi and ninety eight other sons. Sunanda gave birth to Bahubali and Sundari. ….Continued in Next Issue….

CAREER AS A MUSIC EDUCATOR A focus on reading and maths has led to the exit of music education. What are the benefits of music education that children stand to lose out because of increased academics? rituals.
Most importantly, music has no boundaries and need to be explored in that manner; that we embrace it beyond religion and words. We have to accept new philosophies; and in our academy we explore various pedagogical approaches - right from Suzuki’s method to Kodály Solfege Hand Signs. We also teach children to explore the sense of self-discovery and flip learning methods to teach music. For most families, the decision to focus on academic education somewhere promises a job and a steady income. In fact, there is a distinct absence of art in schools and not just music. My research is tied to the economic waxing and waning of a country; and similar to what John Adams (US President) had to say. He said: “Our forefathers had to wage wars and be politicians for their sons and daughters to study math, science and engineering to build a country so that their sons and daughters have the luxury to take to art and music”. Music and art took a back seat as our country went into a state of economic stress. But we are now seeing a change in this attitude as students are pursuing what they desire. Studying the arts, and particularly music, builds strong and secure individuals. At our academy we focus not only on the performance, but take a more holistic and diverse approach to teaching music. In Japan there is a huge focus on art and culture in schools and university. How come the Indian educational system is leaving out the best parts? It is coming back, I assure you! The challenge now is not just in imparting musical education
There is a famous quote: “Some people think music education is a privilege, but I think it’s essential to being human.” At what point in the culturally rich India did music education become a privilege?
Music was always a privilege to a select few in India, unless one took upon himself or herself to learn. In our age-old gurukul system, the demand of intent, inclination and rigorous practice was placed on the student to comply - before a Guru would accept the Shishya. The Guru did not evolve pedagogical practices to make it simpler for the Shishya. The onus of learning was on the student. So, the privilege went to the few who were willing to earn it.
The benefits of music go beyond becoming a professional musician – it forms new patterns of thinking. As is the case in every field, there will be only a few who’ll excel either as physicists, artists, dancers or anthropologists. It is the same with Music. This does not mean that children should not be taught or made aware of music. Music education needs emphasis just like math or science or history is taught, regardless of the profession they may pursue later. In the book Tottochan the principal Mr Kobayashi uses Eurythmics method of teaching music of Jaques-Dalcroze. Are you aware of Eurythmics?
We do use a lot of movements and dance and body expressions in our curriculum. Steiner methods such as Eurythmics are very natural and they have a sense of connecting with children, especially at a very early age. We do not limit ourselves to one method, as we believe that children who are kinaesthetically inclined need to learn even visual or auditory methods. We are experimenting and exploring the use of many of these pedagogy philosophies including Kodalay, Suzuki, Orff, Gardner, Dalcroze Eurythmics and our ageold repetitive ear training, listening and practice with rigor. We believe that each child learns the same concept in their own unique ways and mixing pedagogy philosophies is the best way to diversify teaching and hence learning. Would you call yourself a music educator? Yes. I’m of the firm belief that music can play
a huge role in securing inner harmony and birthing truthful individuals. We started the academy as an experiment to allow free expression of ideas. When we see their eye light up with laughter and music, it confirms our beliefs. In fact, music is inborn in every human - if you can breathe then you have ‘sur’ (tune) and if you have a heart beat then you have ‘taal’ (rhythm). Music education is all about how you can control your breath to produce good sounds and tie the sounds to any specific beat. It really then comes down to intent, inclination and practice. Music exists in every culture. There is rhythm is nature. Even parents all over the world sing to their babies. In this scenario, shouldn’t singing and playing musical instruments come to us naturally? Yes, music comes naturally to us. So can a lot of other things – the ability to simply see and mimic a scene for example. Does that mean all of us can paint the scene exactly in the same way? This is where intent, inclination and rigor start shaping the ability (any ability including music). However, when we start to pigeonhole music and define people’s ability to entertain other people as ‘good music’, that is where it becomes one-dimensional and we start to question if music comes naturally to everybody. We need people to listen to good music and gain as much joy from listening to it as much as the performer gains joy by providing music. Here is where learning music from an early age becomes essential. Do not underestimate the power of music. Music enfolds us in the heart of peace.
VELAS A BEAUTY OF MAHARASHTRA
The Konkan Turtle Festival is organized by the Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra (SNM) at the tiny village of Velas. The village is located on the picturesque Ratnagiri coast of Maharashtra. The Konkan Turtle Festival is part of the conservation program aimed at protecting the endangered Olive Ridley turtles. The festival is normally spread over a 14-day period in the month of March. During this time, activists of the organization as well as tourists and locals release thousands of freshly hatched Olive Ridley Turtles into the sea.
Traditions Over the years, the festival has spread from Velas to 30 other villages. As soon as the female Olive Ridley turtle lays its eggs, activists of the SNM take away the eggs and keep them protected in a special nesting site. This site protects the eggs from nature’s predators as well as predatory human beings. Once the eggs are hatched, the baby turtles are taken to the shoreline – and soon the baby turtles flip their way into the sea waters and swim away. Tourist Essential The festival is a must-visit for environment lovers. In addition, there are other places to see and visit in this area. This includes some spectacular scenery as well as a famous Mahalaxmi temple. Accommodation is pretty basic and visitors are put up by the villagers in the homes. ADVANTAGES OF ORGANIC FOOD 1. In study after study, research from independent organizations consistently shows organic food is higher in nutrients than traditional foods. Research shows that organic produce is higher in vitamin C, antioxidants, and the minerals calcium, iron, chromium, and magnesium. 2. They’re free of neurotoxins–toxins that are damaging to brain and nerve cells. A commonlyused class of pesticides called organophosphates was originally developed as a toxic nerve agent during World War I. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers 60% of herbicides, 90% of fungicides, and 30 percent of insecticides potentially cancer-causing. It is reasonable to think that the rapidly increasing rates of cancer are at least partly linked to the use of these carcinogenic pesticides. 13. Choosing organic food lessens your exposure to antibiotics, synthetic hormones, and drugs that find their way into the plants and ultimately into you. 14. Organic food is tried and tested. By some estimates genetically-modified food makes up 80% of the average person’s food consumption. Genetic modification of food is still experimental. Avoid being part of this wide scale and uncontrolled experiment. 15. Organic food supports greater biodiversity. Diversity is fundamental to life on this planet. JARGON BUSTER CMYK: these letters stand for cyan, magenta, yellow and keystone black. You'll often see printer cartridges described by these terms. ONE MAN MANY FACES – KAMAL HASSAN When we talk about Abraham Lincoln, the following things automatically come to our mind: For the people, by the people, of the people. Likewise, when I hear the word Kamal Hassan, the following words strike me: For the cinema, by the cinema, of the cinema. He needs no introduction. He is one of the icons of Indian Cinema. He can speak English/Tamil on par with a veteran English/Tamil professor. He is a genius not only in cinema but as a person in real life. I am not exaggerating but just telling facts straight from my heart. But, in spite of being such a genius person, Kamal Hassan has always been criticized by certain people. Also he has been treated as a second fiddle in Tamil cinema by the media, by rating Rajnikanth over Kamal Hassan. Well, I am not in for a Kamal Hassan verses Rajnikanth debate. Both are legends in there own ways. Now, coming back to criticism on Kamal, it’s always okay if it is a constructive one. But in the name of criticism, I feel that there are lots of MYTHS about Kamal Hassan and I would like to quote some of the myths and disprove them here. Kamal Hassan is a good film maker, but he doesn’t understand the pulse of audience and his movies aren’t common man’s cup of tea. This is what a certain section of people say about Kamal. Well, if Kamal Hassan doesn’t understand the pulse of our audience, then he would not have been in cinema industry now. He exactly knows how to make a film that would work out in Tamil cinema. Some of his films like Guna, Anbe Sivam, Hey Ram, Kurudhi Punal, Alavandhan etc , which got good reviews from critics , didn’t work out at box office because Kamal Hassan not only tried to entertain the audience with a different script, but also tried to educate them with
a different style of presentation. Some of his films like Nayagan were received by the audience during its release itself, where as a film like Anbe Sivam was received by the majority, some time later after the release. That is the only difference but at the end, all his great works are accepted by audience. To him, Cinema is not just a medium of entertainment, but also a medium that can educate the audience and make them think about the aspects covered in the film. After doing a film like Hey Ram, Kamal did a Tenali that was lapped up by everyone, which includes the common man as well. He has more than one million fans outside the internet world and his films do have all the typical First day First show celebrations during its release, just like how other Mass heroes like Rajni, Vijay and Ajith have. He is a great star in box office and because of his box office power; he is bold enough to make a movie like Vishwaroopam with a budget of more than 100 crores. Some Kamal films are too complicated and cannot be understood by many This is another general criticism on Kamal Hassan. I have received such remarks from people who claim that there all time favorite films are Inception, Memento etc. I really can’t understand how someone can understand a film like Inception very much, but not a movie like Alavandhan or Hey Ram. Is Hey Ram more complicated than Inception? Well, at least to me, it is not. This myth actually shows the hypocrisy of the people who say that Kamal films are so complicated. One need not necessarily understand all the small segments of a Kamal film, but can always understand the overall story/concept of the film and I feel that should be good enough for someone to say that they have understood the film. Kamal films have sexual content and cannot be guaranteed as a family entertainer Again, this is a very hypothetical MYTH about a Kamal film. Yes, some Kamal films had intimate scenes and lip to lip kisses. But such films have been certified by CBFC as A. So the certification clearly states that children below 18 are not allowed to watch such films in theater. But even after that if one complaint that Kamal films have intimate scenes, well, I don’t know what to say. Also, in Indian cinema, in the name of family entertainers/commercial cinema, we see many
masala films with heroines exposing too much in songs. But such films will have a mother/sister sentiment and thus they are treated as family entertainers with U or U/A certificate. So is it okay if our 18 years below people see such songs in theaters with the lead lady exposing too much?
In fact, some time a very glamorous song in U or U/A masala film/family entertainer gives more perverted thoughts to our teenage people than a bed room scene. Well, I agree, some Kamal films have intimate scenes, but they are certified accordingly by the censor board. I also find some people who like films like Dirty picture, Fashion etc stating that the lead lady in those films acted really well, but complaining that a Kamal film has sexual content. Again when it comes to Hollywood, the same group of people, who accuse Kamal for having intimate scene, appreciates a movie like Titanic. This is what I call it as Hypocrisy. Also all Kamal films don’t have intimate scenes. So generalizing Kamal films as films with sexual content is an absolute myth. Kamal Hassan doesn’t have a great command at box office like Rajnikanth This myth has been mainly created by some of the fans of Rajnikanth to just prove a point that Rajni is a Baasha @ box office in Tamil Cinema by a mile when compared to other heroes. As I said earlier, I really don’t want to go for a Rajni verses Kamal debate but I would just like to point out some of the facts about Kamal films @ box office. In 1980’s Kamal is the only actor to give 5 blockbusters in a year, out of which three where Tamil films (Vazhve Mayam, Moondram Pirai, Sagalakala Vallavan).
Kamal also has a great screen presence just like his friend Rajnikanth. He has saved films like Sagalakala Vallavan just by his screen presence and made them blockbusters @ box office. Now if you think that these things happened some 20 years before but now he is not that great, you are wrong. During the release of Dasavatharam, there were many articles stating that the collections were on par with Rajni’s Sivaji. Some articles stated that the collections exceeded Sivaji. A film like Sivaji had a Superstar Rajnikanth, Isai puyal AR Rahman and a director like Shankar. But Dasavatharam had a normal commercial director like KS Ravikumar and a very ordinary music director like Himesh Reshmia/Devi Sri Prasad. But still Kamal Hassan was not only able to generate the box office collections on par with Sivaji but also succeeded in donning 10 getups and making a new story line working out wonders in Tamil Cinema. It also had concepts like Chaos theory which again means that he has also given some thing for the audience to educate, apart from the film being a roller coaster entertainer. Now with Vishwaroopam in Auro 3D technology, Kamal Hassan can make it on par with or even better than Enthiran, which would be really great for Tamil Cinema. These are some of the general MYTHS prevailing about Kamal Hassan. As I have mentioned, these are just MYTHS and not real. Apart from these there are many Myths about Kamal’s personal and off the field career. But I feel that it’s not worth enough to talk about those things as they are created by people who are not able to digest the success and reach of Kamal and thus try to defame him in whatever way they want. Such myths are not given too much of importance even by the general public. But the myths mentioned above are commonly pointed out by many. So I thought I can enlighten those people and prove those myths wrong. Hope I have conveyed what I wanted to.

REVIEW OF VISHWAROOP Terrorism is no longer confined to a particular province, district or state. It's a worldwide concern, affecting every nation in some way or the other. Kamal Haasan's VISHWAROOP, therefore, is pertinent. This time around, the legendary actor helms a genre that's very Hollywoodish and -- here's good news -- he pulls it off quite well. Attempting a nail-biting thriller can be tough. Scores of films have traversed the path in the past. However, Kamal Haasan shuns the tried and tested, humdrum stuff and comes up with a fare that prides itself of mesmerizing action, stunts and combat scenes and marries form [technique] and content [drama] to the delight of the spectators. The film is not without its share of hiccups -- it's way too lengthy and the second half is sketchy -but the effort is laudable, nonetheless. America, 2012. A marriage of convenience. Vishwanath alias Wiz [Kamal Haasan], a Kathak exponent, and Nirupama [Pooja Kumar] get married. All is fine till Nirupama aspires for more and wants to opt out of the arranged marriage. She cannot cite any specific reason to leave Wiz as there is nothing much to complain about him. Every male, according to Nirupama, must have a flaw. So she decides to find out something about him to feel better about her decision to part. She hires a detective to rake up something on him. Wires get cross-connected and all hell breaks loose. VISHWAROOP starts off with gusto and Kamal Haasan ensures there's hardly any dull moment in the first hour. The transformation from a graceful dance teacher to an agent as well as the back story involving the jihadis are proficiently amalgamated in the screenplay and executed by the storyteller, with the swift pacing and brisk unfolding of events/episodes acting as a cherry on the cake. The combat scenes, in fact, are the mainstay of the enterprise, with Kamal Haasan going all out -- as an actor as well as the director - to make it appear real on the big screen.
But the post-interval portions lose focus. The writing isn't persuasive in this hour, especially towards the middle of the second hour and even otherwise, the narrative seems prolonged towards the concluding stages [it's an open end, with Kamal Haasan declaring his ambitious plans for a sequel]. Besides, the resolution could've been far more dramatic and convincing. It isn't! Hollywood often illustrates the jihadis in a typical style and Kamal Haasan uses this template in VISHWAROOP as well. The ill-advised Afghanis and their cry for war against America seem straight out of a western flick. These sequences, coupled with the action stuff, keep you thoroughly involved. Like I pointed out earlier, the execution of several action/combat scenes is exemplary. There's no scope for the usual song and dance routine here, but the background score works well. Kamal Haasan has portrayed a wide variety of characters in his illustrious career and when you look back on his body of work, this act in VISHWAROOP is sure merit a spot amongst his finest works. He is incredible in the dance sequence at the very commencement of the film and changes colors like a chameleon as he takes to the death-defying stunts with passion. It won't be erroneous to state that Kamal Haasan's towering performance is one of the prime reasons why VISHWAROOP stands tall. The film has an array of talented actors and each of them enact their parts with graceful ease. Rahul Bose is in top form. Why don't we see this talented actor in more movies? Jaideep Ahlawat is an amazing talent and I am very sure, we will hear more of him in the future. Shekhar Kapur returns to the big screen in a charming cameo. Nasser gets into the skin of the character with gusto. Both Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah are adequate. On the whole, VISHWAROOP is a Kamal Haasan show all the way. It has an interesting premise, superb combat scenes and Kamal Haasan's bravura act as its three aces. But a stretched second hour and far from dramatic finale dilute the impact. Yet, all said and done, those with an appetite for well-made thrillers might relish this effort!

Bejoy Nambiar picks unconventional options. In SHAITAN, his directorial debut, he chose relative newcomers [with the sole exception of Rajeev Khandelwal] to relate the story of well-heeled kids, belonging to the upper crust, who get implicated in a botched crime and how it pushes them to commit several lawbreaking acts. In DAVID, Bejoy's second outing, he introduces us to three Davids. Dwelling in three different places. In three different eras. But the characters aren't linked to each other, though these characters do connect towards the film's resolution. Given the genre of the film, one would expect DAVID to hurl a lot of shockers at you. Sadly, it doesn't. Sure, the tone of the sequences alters constantly, from passion to angst to apprehension to conflict to retribution to vindication, but the film fails to involve you completely. What comes across on screen is inconsistent. What you eventually carry home is the technique Bejoy adopts to narrate the three stories. But the gorgeous visuals and a couple of enthralling moments aren't enough. A film ought to score as a complete package. That's where DAVID falters! The story revolves around the lives of three Davids in three different parts of the world in three different eras… * 1975 London: David [Neil Nitin Mukesh] works for Iqbal Ghani, a dreaded Mafia don. He is a protégé who is poised to take over the empire until a revelation changes the course of his future. * 1999 Mumbai: David [Vinay Virmani] is a musician born into a family of devout Christians. He is a happygo-lucky teenager who loses all semblance of his peaceful existence when his family gets dragged into a political issue. * 2010 Goa: David [Vikram] is a fisherman who falls in love with Roma [Isha Sharwani]. The only hitch is that she is
I am certain, DAVID would've come across as a remarkable script on paper. But, like most films, it doesn't transcend from an entrancing script into a dazzling motion picture. Bejoy has great vision, no doubt, but the concept loses sheen because there's no connect between the stories. The three tracks go back and forth all through the narrative, which cuts short the drama at several junctures. Besides, the lethargic pacing mars the impact too. DAVID appeals in bits and spurts, although the film begins on a promising note. The track involving Neil Nitin Mukesh is the best of the lot, followed by the one featuring Vinay Virmani. Again, not all episodes in these two stories are attention grabbing. The third one, featuring Vikram, just doesn't work. It has the potential, but the writer/s don't tap the potential to the optimum. As a matter of fact, boredom and dullness seep into the movie at regular junctures, which is not a positive sign when you're watching a thriller. Even the finale is not as compelling. DAVID scores high in its technical department. Be it the luminous cinematography or exhilarating sound design or refreshingly different background score, the outcome is top-quality. The DoP comes up with spectacular frames and also captures the intensity that the characters radiate with dexterity. As for the soundtrack, barring 'Damadam Mast Kalander', there's not much to marvel in this enterprise. The cast is incredibly proficient, with most actors submitting himself/herself to Bejoy's vision. Neil Nitin Mukesh is going to stun a lot of people in this film. He is top notch here, essaying his part with flawlessness. His body language is super. Vikram is a great talent and though his story isn't captivating, his performance is. Vinay is natural to the core and takes rapid strides with this film. Tabu is admirable, as always. Monica Dogra is striking and the rebellion in her character stays with you. Isha Sharvani is photogenic, but doesn't get much scope to act. Lara Dutta appears in an insignificant cameo. Akarsh Khurana is firstrate. Rohini Hattangadi, Nasser, Milind Soman, Neil Bhoopalam, Nishan Nanaiah, Ajinkya Deo, Satish Kaushik, Prahlad Kakkar and Sheetal Menon -- each of them are skilful in their respective roles. On the whole, DAVID is more style, less substance. A few moments do stand out, but they are few and far between. Coming from the director of SHAITAN, this one's a mega disappointment!
