ABHINANDAN BHAGAVAN - 4 Mahabal
was
the king of Ratnasanchay/Mangalavati town in Purvavideh. Although a king, he was a simple and humble person. When people praised him, he thought that why people praised him even in absence of any virtues? When someone criticized him he would humbly say, "You are my true well-wisher and a friend who helps my progress by pointing out my faults." when a feeling of detachment grew in him, he found and opportune moment and took Diksha from Vimal Suri. Due to his simplicity and humility he became a very popular and ideal Sharman in his group. It is said that as a result of this rare disposition and deep mediational practices he purified his soul to an extant that he acquired the Tirthankar-nam-and-gotra-karma. Completing his age, he reincarnated as a god in the Vijay dimension. When the being that was Mahaval left the Vijay dimension, he descended into the womb of queen Siddharth, wife of king Samvar of Ayodhya. As a result of the simplicity of attitude inherited from the earlier birth, the soul in the womb of the queen had a soothing and pacifying influence on the outer world. The people of the kingdom were suddenly filled with the feelings of humility and fraternity. Irrespective of age, caste, creed and status every one started greeting and honoring others. Politeness and polished manners became the thing in vogue. The augurs and other scholars confirmed taht as the aura of a pious soul influences all the people around, the effusion of politeness was caused by the soul in the womb. The queen gave birth to the future Tirthankar on the second day of the bright half of the month of Magh. As the influence of this soul was evident in the overt mutual greetings, the king named his son as Abhinandan (greeting). As time passed Abhinandan lead normal mundane life with least indulgence. He ascended the throne when his father became an ascetic. After a long and peaceful reign, he became an ascetic and indulged in rigorous penance and lofty spiritual practices. He attained omniscience on the fourteenth day of the dark half of the month of Paush. For a long period Bhagavan Abhinandan
moved around to show the right path to millions of beings. On the eighth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakah he attained Nirvana at Sammetshikhar.
SUMATINATH BHAGAVAN - 5 Vijayasen was the king of Shankhpur town in the Purva Mahavideh area. He had a son named Purushasimha. While he had gone for a walk in the garden one day, the prince listened to the discourse of Acharya Vinayanandan Dev. He became detached and a turned ascetic. As a result of vigorous penance and higher spiritual practices, he earned the Tirthankarnam-and-gotra-karma. Completing his age, he reincarnated as a god in the Vijayant dimension. From Vijayant dimension, the soul that was Purushasimha descended into the womb of queen Mangalavati/Sumangala, wife of king Megh of Ayodhya. The news of the queen being pregnant made the atmosphere of Ayodyha live with happiness and joy. One day two women and a little boy came to the kings court to seek justice. One of the women put forth her case before the king, "Sire! We both are wives of a rich seafaring merchant. Our husband has left for his heavenly abode leaving behind we two, a son, and heaps of wealth. The child truly belongs to me but this second wife of the merchant claims to be her. This is nothing but a conspiracy to grab the wealth that would be inherited by the child. Save me, my Lord! I seek my son and justice from you." The story narrated by the other woman was also the same. Shouting charges and counter charges at each other, both the women claimed the possession of the child. The child could not indicate his true mother as he had got equal affection from both. As the boy was born in some remote place, there was no eye witness available. The king was in a quandary. Even after a lot of probing and weighing the evidence he could not solve the problem. Any ill conceived solution could end up in doing injustice to the innocent. The king and his ministers all could end up in doing injustice to the innocent. The king and his ministers all were in a fix. The night was
approaching and the king was getting late for his dinner. He adjourned the case and went into the palace for dinner. The queen asked, "Today you are late for the dinner, your highness. What is the matter? Was there some complex problem?" The king narrated the case of the two women and their child and said, "No one is able to say firmly, which one of the women is the real mother of the child and which one is the pretender?" The queen said with a smile, "Your Highness, let a woman solve the problems of women. Send the case to me and allow me to resolve the issue." Next morning the queen herself came to the kings court. Both the women and their son were produced before the queen. There was no apparent indication in the behavior and disposition of the two women that could give any indication of the genuineness of one. All of a sudden, the queen got an inspiration and she said, "This enigma has no simple solution. There is one object and two claimants. The object, being a person, cannot be split into two. Under the circumstances the only solution I can think of is to keep the matter pending. I carry a pious soul in my womb. Let us wait till it is born and is ready to resolve this issue. during the period of waiting, let the son and the property of the deceased be taken into the custody of the state. Till then the claimants may wait." Hearing all of this one of the claimants readily accepted the arrangement but the other started weeping. In a choked voice she said, "No! Please don’t separate me from my son. I will not be able to survive without my son for such a long period, I withdraw my claim. Let the other woman take the child as well as all the property of my husband. My only submission is that I may be allowed at least meet the child. I will be contented with that only." The queen recognized the pain and concern of a mother’s heart. She gave her judgment, "The woman who immediately agreed to my proposal is the impostor. Her attachment is not to the child but to the wealth. She may be imprisoned. The one who wants to surrender her claim is the real mother. The child and the wealth may be given to her with all honor." Everyone present in the assembly was dumbstruck by this witty method of judgment. The impostor pleaded guilty and submitted to be pardoned. On the eighth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakh, the queen gave birth to a son. A wave of peace and goodwill swept the whole world. Appreciating the
fact that the marked improvement in wisdom and sense of judgment during the pregnancy was the influence of the presence of the illustrious and pious soul, king Megh named the new born asSumati (wisdom or right thinking). When he became a young man, Sumati Kumar was married, and in due course inherited the kingdom. King Megh became an ascetic. After a long and peaceful reign Sumatinath, too, became an ascetic. He attained omniscience under a Priyangu tree on the eleventh day of the bright half of the month of Chaitra. He established the four pronged religious ford and became a Tirthankar. On the ninth day of the bright half of the month of Chaitra he got Nirvana at Sammetshikhar.
PADMAPRABH BHAGAVAN - 6 Maharaj Aparajit ruled over Susima town in the Purvavideh area. He was a simple and religious person. He got detached after listening to the discourse of an Arhat and took Diksha from Acharya Pihitashrava. As a result of long spiritual practices he earned Tirthankar-nam-andgotra-karma. Completing his age, he reincarnated as a god in the Graiveyak dimension. From the dimension of gods, the being that was Aparajit descended into the womb of queen Susima, wife of the king Kaushambi. One day queen Susima had a desire to sleep on a bed made up of lotus flowers. As this was a desire of a pregnant mother, the gods made arrangements for its fulfillment. On the twelfth day of the dark half of the month of Kartik the queen gave birth to a son. The new born had a soft pink glow like lotus flowers. The king named him as Padmaprabh. In due course the prince became young and was married. When his father left for spiritual practices, Padmaprabh ascended the throne. After a long and successful reign, when through his three fold knowledge he knew that the right moment has come, he became an ascetic. After six months of spiritual practices, on the full moon day of the month of Chaitra he attained omniscience under a banyan tree. Propagating right religion for a long time, Bhagavan Padmaprabh wandered around and at last arrived at Sammetshikhar. He got Nirvana on the eleventh day of the dark half of the month of Margshirsh.
THE GRADING SYSTEM WILL NOT WORK IN INDIA One of the most prominent universities of the world, The University of Delhi (DU) has decided to introduce a grading system for both undergraduate as well as post-graduate courses. An expert committee has been formed to formulate this change from the academic session 2013-14. According to the representatives of this expert committee, the decision to introduce grading has been taken to make the semester system more effective.
In most of the courses offered by the University of Delhi, the semester system came into the curriculum with effect from the academic session 2011-12 onward. From the very beginning, this move of the University was not welcomed with arms wide open. It created quite a furore in the academic world. For many days, classes did not take place because the DU teachers and students were protesting. One can easily judge the seriousness of this issue by looking into this outrage in past. Even, some of the political parties tried to convince the Human Resources Development Ministry to force Delhi University to discuss the issues raised by its protesting teachers and to not take coercive steps. Now, the university is going for new changes like the four year under-graduate degree courses, META University and the grading system. It is believed that they are also going to meet the same fate. It seems that all these changes are being pushed through in undue haste. The teaching and academic community is opposing this move
because the university does not seek their acceptance; neither are there any proper discussions nor any consultations. These measures have been introduced by the Vice Chancellor in such a flurry that his credibility is being subjected now. It is also believed that there is some hidden agenda behind such drastic actions. There are some statutory procedures and established democratic academic practices for implementation of new rules and policies related to academics but this hubbub is really subverting this set-up.
The students are also not pleased with the semester system. It is overburdening them and teachers and is affecting the university culture. Students are forced to cram because it is the only possible way left to outscore others. The syllabus is so vast that a student does not have any time to participate in extra-curricular activities. Yes, it keeps him/her focused on what is taught in class but at the same time the students who really want to try something new don’t get time for the same. In most of the courses, the syllabuses of the subjects which are meant to be studied in one year are now to be completed within six months. The teachers are struggling to finish the courses and even if they are finished, there is no time left for preparation. The colourful college life which is shown in movies now seems facetious.
Now, let us look into the effectiveness of grading system in colleges. In the past, when it was proposed for schools that a grading system would be followed, the schools were in dither. So, the University is now mulling over in following this system. The VC reported that a committee has been set which will look for the feasibility of implementation of this scheme. It has got the academic council’s approval which is the highest academic body in the university.
The members of this core team say that this idea has been appreciated by all. But I do not feel that it is a good step. Grades do not accurately indicate how much a student has learned in a class. Grades do not keep the passion to excel alive. When one gets fewer marks in an examination, he/she can analyze in a better way the mistakes for which marks were cut; but with grades, you do not have the actual marks. (The grades are given according to class limits. For instance, the students scoring in the range of 91-100 will get A1; the students scoring in the range of 81-90 will get A2 and so on. Then, it does not matter whether the student is getting 91 or 100, he will get an A1.) There are fears that if the students will really benefit from this system. It does not differentiate the truly deserving students and the lazybones. It overshadows the hard-work of students and discourages them because an average student is also getting same grades as of outstanding one. The academics body says that after the implementati on of this grading system, no student will be declared fail. But what is the point in doing so? You cannot loosen up the criteria. If this system gets implemented, there will be no strictness. The students will become complacent because they know that they will definitely pass. The authorities are also making a point that weak students get depressed when being reprimanded by their teachers; so, in this way, we can soothe them. But the reality is that it does NOT encourage the students to work hard at all. Many researchers, educators and parents are now questioning the purpose and effectiveness of grades.
Certainly students deserve to know how they are doing and they benefit from understanding how they are performing; but the communication of this progress can have a great impact on how a student learns. It is my opinion that grades do not motivate a student to perform better because if a student does not know where he is standing, how on earth will he try to improve himself? Students take it easy because their sole purpose becomes getting an A1 and they tend to learn the things just for this purpose. This type of learning is not worth of it. Instead, the students who get marks are more likely to want to continue exploring whatever they’re learning, more likely to want to challenge themselves, and more likely to think deeply. And, this is the main objective of education which must be imparted by the teachers to the students.
These systems are considered inefficient because teachers have raised a range of objections and some serious allegations have been made on the working of the University in making new policies. It appears completely undemocratic. The teachers are totally displeased owing to the formation of new systems without any discussion with them and without their acknowledgement. The University needs to act in a judicious way. There must be proper discussions and workshops before implementation of new policies so that the results of such systems can be learned effectively; and the students can hope for a promising future. As the University has decided that it is going to award grades rather than marks, there must be proper categorization. The differentiation should be made between good, better and outstanding performances so that the spirit of healthy competition does not get over and the quality of education remains maintained.
MAKE YOUR OWN LIGHT BALL LAMP To make your own random light-inspired lamp, you need five things: - Pilates ball (big round balloon) ; Wallpaper glue - Paper cords (approx. 200 meters) ; - Lamp cable ; - Plastic sheets What to do: 1. Blow up the pilates ball and wrap it in plain plastic sheets to protect against the wallpaper glue. 2. Mix the wallpaper glue according to the package. 3. Dip the paper cord in the glue and wrap around the ball until you are satisfied with the result. Remember to leave a hole to be able to easily replace the lamp bulb. 4.Let dry for at least 12 hours and make sure it is really dry before the next step 5. Deflate the pilates ball and pull both it and the plastic sheeting through the hole. Then mount the light cable and hang the lamp. It looks extra nice it will be with an oversized lamp bulb. The hole that you made should be on the side of the light cable so you can, as I mentioned earlier, easily replace the bulb.

HOW TO CHOOSE AN AC FOR HOME Air Conditioner is an inherent part of an household with summners getting hotter. You should consider your needs and do your research before finalizing the one you want to buy. AIR CONDITIONER FEATURES Size / Capacity The size of your airconditioner is very important. You need to think about whether you are cooling a single room, a selection of rooms or the entire house. If the airconditioner is too small you won't cool down and you'll waste electricity running it on high all the time. If, on the other hand, you choose an airconditioner that's too large for your needs you'll have to switch it off regularly when you become too cold. Switching it on and off all the time will also waste energy. The Ton of air conditioning indicates the cooling capacity of the air conditioner. One ton of air conditioning is 12,000 BTU. A BTU is short for 'British Thermal Unit' and is the amount of heat that will raise or lower the temperature of one pound of water by 10F.You should keep in mind that actual capacity is not constant and will change based on outdoor or indoor temperature. The published rating of a unit is based upon capacity when the outdoor temperature is 950Fand the inside temperature is 800F. The chart below will help you decide the tonnage for the air conditioner for a 12-14 feet high room. Area in square feet Tonnage of AC Less than 90

Energy efficiency Check the energy rating of the airconditioner you are considering. All airconditioners should have an energy-rating label which uses stars to rate the efficiency. The more stars the better. Also on the label will be an energy consumption box. The lower the number, the less it will cost to run.
Airflow The fan in the airconditioner circulates the cool air around the room. Look out for airconditioners with a variety of airflow settings. While a high setting is good for cooling a room quickly, it can be quite noisy so you need to be able to adjust it to a lower level that keeps the room cool but quiet. Noise level - It may sound pedantic but you need to check how noisy your airconditioner will be. If it's noisy, not only will it annoy you in your home but your neighbours may be affected too. Timer - A timer lets you switch your airconditioner at certain times even when you are not at home. This works well to cool the house down an hour or so before you arrive home. Ionisers - Ionisers can emit a stream of clean, fresh, negatively charged air. This reduces airborne odours by producing traces of ozone that can reenergize the enironment. Sensors - Sensors which can monitior room temperature can be located in the air conditioner unit and also the remote control unit. Aesthetics - You should consider what the airconditioner will look like attached to your wall. Try to choose one that blends in with your decor. DIFFERENT TYPES OF AIR CONDITIONERS Portable Air Conditioners Portable airconditioners can be moved from room to room and use the same heat-exchange principles as built-in models. This means they can cool and dehumidify the air. Pros • Can be moved from room to room • Can be plugged into a normal powerpoint no need for professional installation Cons • Some are only suitable as personal coolers rather than room coolers Wall or window model Air Conditioners Wall or window models can be installed in a window or an external wall. Pros • • • •
Can cool single rooms well Smaller units can be plugged into existing power points Single Unit Require lesser upfront cost as installation is simple
Cons • •
Cons Not suitable for larger rooms Aesthetically not as impressive as Split ACs
Split system Air Conditioners Split systems are generally used to cool one or more rooms, or an open-plan area. A compressor unit is installed outside and then one or two outlets are positioned indoors. Pros • Offers more flexibility on where to locate the outside component than wall models • Can cool open-plan areas well • Very quiet operation • Attractive and aesthetic designs • Good air distribution for ACs of same size Cons • Won't cool more than a couple of rooms or a single open-plan area • More expensive than portable or window units. • Has separate internal and external units which need to be joined, this requires drilling and permanent fixing. Ducted Air Conditioners Ducted airconditioners can be installed in the roof or on the ground outside. The air is then ducted through the house via various outlets. Pros • Can be designed with multiple zones so you can cool all of the home or just specific areas • Energy efficient • Offers flexibility as to where noisegenerating equipment is located Cons • Must be professionally installed. • Can't be bought 'off the shelf' - the airconditioner must be custom-made to the house. • Doesn't work as well in very humid areas • More expensive than split systems and wall systems Reverse-cycle Air Conditioners Reverse-cycle air-conditioners are available in any of the above types. Pros • One system for heating and cooling • Cheapest form of heating system • Creates the least amount of carbon dioxide
•
More expensive than cooling-only models
AC POWER CONSUMPTION You can check the LG Energy consumption calculator to get a sense of power or energy consumption and cost. AC PRICE AND BUDGET You should take care to narrow down on the appropriate AC by looking at the product design, quality and its performance. Also, consider the installation cost, running costs like power and maintenance while buying your AC. Split ACs cost more than Window ACs and might use slightly less power than Window ACs. You can check the price and feature comparison and AC brands websites listed above for an idea of the price and features of various ACs available. INSTALLATION Check Air Conditioner Installation Guide INVERTER BASED TECHNOLOGY IN AC Inverter based air conditioners offer considerable reduction in power consumption by adjusting compressor's running speed and controlling voltage and current frequency. These are catching up in the AC market. REFRIGERANTS IN AC The trend is shifting from R-22 refrigerant to others like R-410a, R-290 with use of microchannel PFC. This is coming as demand for energy-efficient, environment friendly ACs are on rise.

Subsequently, basic customs duty on new passenger cars and other motor vehicles (high-end cars) costing more than USD 40,000 and/or engine capacity exceeding 3,000cc for petrol run vehicles and exceeding 2500 cc for diesel run vehicles has been hiked 100 per cent from 75 per cent earlier. Likewise, duty on yachts and similar vessels has also been raised to 25 per cent from 10 per cent. In a blow to mobile handset makers, excise duty on instruments priced above Rs 2,000 has been raised to six per cent but the concessional excise duty of one per cent and has been kept unchanged in the case of low priced phones. Smokers will also have to shell out more for their puffs with Chidambaram training his eyes on them for more tax revenues. "What does a Finance Minister turn to when he requires resources? The answer is cigarettes. I propose to increase the specific excise duty on cigarettes by about 18 per cent. Similar increases are proposed on cigars, cheroots and cigarillos," he said while delivering the Budget speech. Eating out at air conditioned restaurants will also become more expensive with the Finance Minister bringing it under the purview of service tax. At present, service tax of 12 per cent does not apply to A/C restaurants that do not serve liquor. "The distinction is artificial, and I propose to levy service tax on all air conditioned restaurants," he said. Homes and flats with a carpet area of 2,000 sq ft or more or of a value of Rs 1 crore will also become more expensive as the rate of abatement for this class of buildings has been reduced from 75 per cent to 70 per cent. Silk clothes made using imported raw materials will become expensive as customs duty on raw silk of all grades has been increased to 15 per cent from 5 per cent. Set top boxes will also become costlier with basic customs duty on the item has been increased 10 per cent from from 5 per cent. However, it is not gloomy all the way with Chidambaram leaving room for some cheer as well. The duty free allowance on jewellery for an Indian passenger, who has been residing abroad for over one year or a person who is transferring residence to India, has been raised to Rs 1 lakh in case of a lady passenger from Rs 50,000 earlier. For a male passenger, this has been raised to Rs 50,000 from Rs 10,000. Moreover, precious stones will become cheaper as the basic customs duty has been cut to 2 per cent from 10 per cent on pre-forms of precious and semi-precious stones. Branded apparels will also become cheaper as there will be no excise duty on the item. Last year, 10 per cent excise duty was levied on 30 per cent of the maximum retail price (MRP). Imported hazel nuts will also become cheaper as the customs duty has been reduced to 10 per cent from 30 per cent. Similarly, dehulled oat grain will also be less expensive as customs duty has been cut to 15 per cent from 30 per cent earlier.

Chidambaram had a interloping political stinct after this. He left the TMC to form his own party Congress Jananayaka Peravai. His party largely focused on Tamilnadu yet failed to take its place as a mainstream politics. He is competence in the finance portfolio backed by public mandate was the main reason for his induction as Finance Minister in the UPA government in 2004. PM Chidambaram Controversies- In September 2011, Subramanian Swamy moved to Supreme Court of India, after months of request to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to look into Chidambaram's role in the 2G spectrum scam. A statement by the finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee concluded that the during his tenure as Finance Minster he collaborated in the pricing of 2 G spectrum. Secondly the dubious Aircel Maxis Deal that releaved that the ministers son had a 5% share on in the company. Even though shareholding in a large publicly listed company is easily verifiable, no evidence was produced to substantiate charges of Karti owning shares in any Maxis companies. Chidambaram then had statutory authority over the FIPB in his role as the Finance Minister. Subsequently the issue was raised on multiple times in Parliament of India by the opposition which demanded his resignation. He as also accused of hoarding black money the minister however has refrained to respond on the issue. He was also accused under the controversial companies registration as he represented the bankrupt Enron. He had t tender his resignation in 1992 following the tender registration scam. Chidambaram's speeches for assembly elections in Tamil Nadu have been laced with anti-Hindi rhetoric and had questioned the number of Hindi speaking ministers in the NDA government although he himself was the Finance Minister at that time and later on the Home Minister for the country. Chidambaram was also accused for his controversial scheme for tax payers. His other brushes with controversy include his speech stating that migrants were responsible for the increase in crimes in Delhi. He was also severely criticsed for the lathi charge on Anna Hazare . Another instance is the way he tackled the issue of Maoist insurgency. Finally Chidambaram was criticized for his ministry's failure to prevent the 13 July 2011 Mumbai bombings, in spite of massive investments in security following the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
REVIEW – 26/11 The terror attacks on Mumbai on 26/11 will remain etched in our memory forever. The attacks, which were condemned globally, still send a shiver down my spine when I reminisce about it. The dastardly acts by a terrorist organization at multiple sites of the city, killing and wounding hundreds of innocent lives, evoked myriad emotions. One felt furious, powerless, empathetic, distraught and traumatized at the same time. Now relive the catastrophic attacks on the big screen... The tragic event, which led to debates, discussions and candlelight marches, gets chronicled on the big screen. Ramgopal Varma's THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 is a cinematic interpretation of the barbaric attacks on 26/11, with the maverick filmmaker unfolding the attacks on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Leopold Cafe, Taj Mahal Hotel and Cama Hospital. Also incorporated in this motion picture is the arrest of Ajmal Kasab, the sole attacker who was captured alive, and his execution at Yerwada Jail in Pune last year. A 7-minute showreel of how the terrorists infiltrated into Mumbai -- part of the promotional campaign of THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 -- was spellbinding enough to generate incredible attention for the film. The challenge that RGV faced was to reconstruct the events, replicating the gruesome acts on celluloid. But, I wish to add, one relives the emotions while watching the horrifying events unfold on the screen -- infuriation, distress, grief, helplessness. It leaves you stunned and traumatized, as if you, too, had been caught in the swirl of events that led to the inexpressible misery and carnage. Also, THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 makes you salute and respect the men in uniform, who fought the terrorists tooth and nail. That's precisely why THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 triumphs as a feature film. RGV restricts the film to the night of the incident, recording episodes between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m., when Kasab was caught at Chowpatty. The movie grabs your attention from the inception itself, when the terrorists hijack an Indian trawler, Kuber, kill the fishermen on board and compel its head to sail towards Mumbai. Though it's impossible to chronicle the events in 2 hours, RGV films the brutal attacks with ferocious passion, conjuring up images that seem straight out of real life. The audacious shootout in the lobby of Taj [replicated at another hotel], the slaughter and mayhem at CST, the blood and
gore, each and every sequence that unfolds on screen gives you the goose bumps [this could be a deterrent for those who get put off by too much blood and gore]. Especially the sequence at the interval point [a wounded child watching a cop cry his lungs out]. It is chilling! It's in the post-interval portions that the viewer gets to know what transpired at Cama Hospital and also gets an insight into the mind of Ajmal Kasab. The sequence when Kasab talks of his Aaka and the fight to save Islam is shocking. But it's the sequence in the morgue -- with Nana confronting Kasab and talking about jihad -which takes the graph of the film to an all-time high. It's in these two sequences that you realize that the supremely talented storyteller is back with a vengeance. RGV makes sure he doesn't skip a beat while narrating the vital episodes. Sure, the skeptics may argue, we have read and seen it all through various forms of communication [TV, newspapers, online], but what RGV accumulates is beyond words. This is one film where the reallife episodes take precedence, while technique takes a backseat [unlike his previous endeavors]. The gimmicky camera angles are not there this time, since RGV goes about passionately reliving the horrific tale as it is. In fact, it won't be erroneous to state that THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 rediscovers RGV, who bounces back with renewed enthusiasm. Nana Patekar is exceptional. Such restraint and maturity in a performance is a rarity. He is super in the sequences when he disposes before the inquiry commission and electrifying when he confronts Kasab at the morgue. Sanjeev Jaiswal [as Kasab] is so persuasive that you can't help but hate him and his on-screen actions. The brutality that dwells in some humans comes to the fore as Jaiswal intensely enacts the sequence at the interrogation centre. Saad Orhan [as Ismail] is equally convincing. Atul Kulkarni, Asif Basra, Ravi Kale and Ganesh Yadav make cameo appearances. On the whole, THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 is akin to watching the barbaric act in rawest form. The film not only chronicles the terror attacks, but also pays homage to the sentiments of the people of India and especially the heroes and victims of 26/11. A powerful retelling of a regrettable event in history. Do not miss this one! -
Aquarius - This is a week of contrary happenings. Your approval rating is up, so the temptation to celebrate may bring the rating down. Communications run from heartfelt, power building and just plain hurtful. Avoid gossip. Be nice no matter who else is saying what. See the good and report on that.
Leo - You step out of the major spotlight by midweek. Do what you can until then to show what you know. You can still get attention from the feminine sector, standard flattery won't work. You'll have to have creative or intellectual appeal. Authority figures will give you a chance and support if you show respect.
Pisces - Time to start a new chapter in your life. For many of you, this new phase is forced with a lightning bolt. The others, you've been planning this, so the shock is in the eyes of your nearest and dearest. Make 2 year plans at the minimum for your new direction. Be proactive over the next two weeks.
Virgo - You step into the spotlight this week. Dazzle the crowds by simply doing your best. If you make a mistake (and you will make one or two over through mid-April), handle it like a pro. No shame in being human, at least not a thinking, feeling, willing to learn and grow kind of guy or gal. This month could be the culmination of actions stated more than a year ago. Accept the critique or applause graciously.
Aries - LLC 1 ,2,3 get enough rest and eat right. A good portion of you will be having communication, transportation challenges or a change with what or who you value this month. Forewarned is forearmed. Make sure your insurance is up to date and par. Consider your priorities. Put those people and things first. Taurus - LLC 3,4,5 take life with a grain of salt, then eat right and get enough rest. There is so much pressure to get things done this month; you could end of spinning your wheels if you don't get some traction. Like a sports car getting out of the mud, consider your direction, find a foundation, start slow and build speed. Gemini - Make hay while the sun shines. You LLC 5,6,7 may make it a little more difficult to sift through what is good and true, but you have human resources galore that will assist in every way possible. Accept or ask for assistants as need be. There is a cosmic rhythm of give and take going on; be part of it. Cancer - Major adjustments are forced. Well, that's just life isn't it? Adaptation is your key to success. Successful long term adaptation is different than settling for what is easily available. It's making the most of the situation and your talents. Make plans to initiate a new strategy after your LLC 7,8,9. The cheese has moved, so move with it.
Libra - HC 1 ,2,3 says you can burn the candle at both ends, but don't let the wax drip on the carpet. Use common sense in all endeavors is what I'm trying to say. Authority figures will notice both what and why you do things. Schedule conversations, reviews, applications towards the end of the week for best results. Scorpio - HC 3,4,5 says you are up for most things. You'll find that even though there are abundant mistakes and miss-starts all month, you will glide not grind through most endeavors. Make every day count. You have six weeks to move a lot of pieces into place. You can do it more easily with honey, not vinegar. Sagittarius - Press ure or a certain type of force kicks in and lasts for six weeks. That can be the energy you need to inspire you on to better things. See a change in circumstances as the fresh breeze that livens things up. You can't fly a kite without wind. HC 5 ,6,7 find the wind and raise your consciousness . Capricorn - Finally, a little measurable progress is seen and appreciated over the next month and a half. Mistakes continue to happen, but you can find a way to make trouble work to your advantage. Limitations are the walls that define your space. What you do with that space is up to you. Schedule the tougher or tedious tasks during your HC 7,8,9.
