TIPS AND TRICKS for iGV projects

AGENDA CREATION

In our case – agenda is a detailed description of all the topics we are going to discuss, activities we plan to run during a project, including lectures, lessons, workshops, excursions and any other interactions, description of how we are going to execute it and when

SDG RECOMMENDATION 1. 2. 3. 4.

Define SDG that you want to tackle by your project Go to sdg.org.ua to check national ratings of SDGs Go to sustainabledevelopment.un.org and find targets that concern your ideas Define what are you going to achieve by realizing a project and figure out how to measure it’s level at the beginning of your project and at the end. The difference is your impact!! (Measurements of Impact webinar is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qm1KAjCDhQ)

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Agenda creation requires time and your clear mind 2. Make general research about projects and activities in the sphere of the project topic, to get the perspective 3. Analyze previous agendas if it’s not new project 4. Plan feedback process (share it with friends, alumni, partners, find someone from Target Audience (TA) of the project to get their inputs) then consider it 5. Make general research about the topic of the project and it’s current state

STAGES OF AGENDA CREATION

1 2Defining objectives of the project according to it 3Dividing it into topics Defining trends/problems/opportunities so the project is relevant for the society, city so it will be your KPIs

by delivering of which – you ensure fulfillment of the objectives

STAGES OF AGENDA CREATION

4 5Creating system of tracking 6Making connections between sessions/lessons Thinking and researching for activities that can help us in delivery of this topics

(for example the topic of this lesson is recycling. if at the end of the lesson kids can create 10 ways of recycling the thing you say them – you’re done!)

and ensuring it’s alignment to general topic and inside the project again

PROCESS OF AGENDA CREATION Morning activity

Then each block with activities have to be described as well

Game "hide and seek" Setup for Great Wind Blows Game Arrange all the chairs to form a circle (all chairs facing inward toward the middle). One player starts in the middle, standing up. He or she begins the round.

GTKeO

Activity for life conections

Playing Great Wind Blows The game is simple to play; one person in the middle starts by saying “Great wind blows for everyone who…” and then says any characteristic that is true for that person. For example, if the person has been to Canada before, he or she can say, “Great wind blows for everyone who has been to Canada.” All players who have been to Canada before must stand and quickly find a new seat that is more than 2 chairs away from them. If the player is not able to find a vacant seat, he or she is the new person who is in the middle. Distribute these cards to each group (or show these on a chalkboard/whiteboard/Powerpoint on the front of the room). Within each small group, each group member must choose one Story Starter and begin a story using one of these sentences as a starting point…

FOLLOW UP 1. Once agenda is done – give it for feedback! Also you can include MC VPs =) 2. Make sure that out of the agenda – JD of interns is clear (what preparation have to be done, which lessons, which activities, which workshops they have to do, when and how) and OP taker responsibilities are clear too 3. Make sure everything makes actual sense and is not useless 4. Define how do you measure that your agenda implementations is successful (#of activities realized, #NPS, #customer feedbacks) 5. Make sure there is something for media!

Cool! Seems you got all the needed info to create an outstanding agenda that will impress everyone! Good luck now, guys! If you need something else, feel free to approach Sashka Chuchko, Arie Dia Fauzan or Moez Bchir
