September is possibly one of the most stressful months of all other months in the year. For one, it’s when the Winter/Fall Collection gets showcased; and even though here in tropical Singapore/Philippines, we still cannot escape the heated conversations surround those designer fancies. That aside, it’s also the month where Singapore hosts the Formula One event – parties starts from the 16th to the 20th – with most central roads, blocked off. The heart of Singapore becomes this enormous cage, with super cars going off the charts on the speed limits, without getting slapped with a fine.

Once all these activities finally subside, the new month starts with a month-long joint-birthday celebration across the director’s board, internally at HQ. Here-on, till possibly the end of the year altogether, is a rat race to jam pack just about anything and everything, making sure all is perfectly placed and in-line – Formula One, birthday celebrations (organisational and humanly), campaign closure, Christmas and finally the Count Down. Mark your calendars folks.

These days, it’s all about the kicks. With all the options available today from sneakers designed by style heavyweights, like Raf Simons and Jeremy Scott to sneaker collaborations with pop celebrities like Pharrell and Taylor Swift, nothing says edgy comfortable better than sneakers. With that, we rounded up the best ways to amp your sneaker style.
1. Style it up with socks.
2. Anklets!
Don’t just limit yourself to your usual black and white gym socks to go with your sneakers. Now that there’s an array of choices for socks, you can go crazy with printed socks in eye-catching designs like polka dots, stripes, and even cartoon characters!
The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from “de Finibus et Maloversions from the 1914 by

3. Shortcut it. When wearing sneakers, you automatically look casual, laidback vibe. This however, doesn’t equate to sloppy dressing. Pair your sneakers with a nice pair of shorts, clam diggers, or even cuffed jeans. Roll up or cuff your jeans to show off your sneakers, or pair them with Bermuda shorts or denim cut-offs for an instant summer feel.

4. Customize
it.
A lot of different shoe brands offer customization for sneaker addicts. So instead of getting a pair of plain white kicks, spice them up with colorful laces, accessorize them with studs and pins, or have them painted with your favorite pattern.
4. Designer duds, dude! When all else fails, turn to the fashion gods. Fancy some Adidas? What about Jeremy Scott’s winged beauties? The snuggly, cuddly bears are there if those are more up your alley. If you want to go a little sleeker, there are always designer sneakers by Raf Simons for the boys and Isabel Marant for the girls.

Doing a patterned ensemble can be tricky. However, if done well, it will portray a well-thought, coordinated look that is sure to impress. Great for meeting new people, parties or just when you feel like taking fashion to the next level.
Keep your scales different
Stick to the same colour family When going patterned, keep your colours coordinated. It helps to have another colour of the same or similar shade on another piece of clothing that you are wearing. This tip is especially important for bright-coloured prints, so as to avoid looking like you got dressed in the dark.
Mixing prints of a larger scale with that of a smaller one showcases creativity and coordination. Instantly a head-turner in the best way possible!
Invert the colours When mixing the same or similar patterns, invert the colours to keep the look well-matched, but yet interestingly mismatched.
Neutrals
Break up two different patterns with a neutral colour/piece to portray a laidback, yet fashion-forward vibe. Denim works fantastically with patterns!
Waist belt = Best Friend Break up patterns with a waist belt to keep your look balanced. You can be more adventurous with contrasting patterns in this way.

Nothing in this world is more soothing than knowing that payday weekend is just around the corner, or finding a long forgotten five hundred peso bill tucked away in one of the hidden pockets of your yellow wallet. While shopping is fun, it can be sinfully dangerous with all the beautiful pieces calling for you as you walk pass the glorious boutiques. The question is...are you going to give in to the temptation?
lust
Don’t just drool over these luxurious items, save up and splurge. (You know you want to!) If you’re going to be spending a huge amount of money might as well spend it on items that will last you a lifetime.
handbag
PERFUME
Being able to splurge on a designer handbag is a definite proof that you’ve finally made it. Opt to purchase a classic piece that you can tote around for a long period of time.
While no one will know what scent you’re wearing without asking, as Nina Garcia said, “Perfume is a powerful weapon.” Find a perfume that you love, and stick to it until people can associate the scent to you.
You can never go wrong with these iconic handbags: 1. The Chanel 2.55 2. A Birkin 3. An LV Speedy
Our
all-time favorite scents: 1. Chanel No. 5 2. Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Rose 3. B. Balenciaga
SHOES
Every woman needs beautiful shoes to bring her to beautiful places. Apart from keeping your style game on check, shoes also protect your feet from all the walking around the city so do not scrimp on them. Types of shoes that are worth the splurge: 1. For work: Pumps 2. For a quick run in the mall: Ballet Flats 3. For a night out with the ladies: Stilettos 4. For fun: The shoe of the season
of women tend to neglect purchasing a stylish and functional wallet. Like your wallet Majority phones, a smart woman will never leave her home without her wallet so why not make sure that your wallets are stylish enough to carry alone when you’re too lazy to carry around a handbag during a midnight snack run.
watch
There is a reason why men who seem to be born to hate shopping love to splurge on watches. Like a piece of jewellery, a watch is timeless and can be considered as a smart investment. Plus, they keep your wrist party at the top of their game too. What’s not to love?
envy
Stylish stars that seem to have it all can easily turn any woman into a green-eyed monster in just a snap of an Instagram photo. Here are some of the stars’ favorite pieces that every woman would want to grab for their own collections.
Heart Evangelista’s Hermès Twilly Scarf – The Filipina actress turned style icon turned her much coveted Hermès Twilly Scarf into a necklace by inserting it inside a chunky gold chain necklace.
Olivia Palermo’s Customized Flats – This stylish star’s eye-catching yellow flats is already drool-worthy on its own, but the embroidered initials of the reality star turned style star on the Scho flats made the pair to die for.
Heart Evangelista’s Hermès Bag – Pulling a Kim Kardashian, Heart added a pop of colour in her Hermès bag by painting on it making the classic Hermès even more priceless.
Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow Necklace – Being the daughter of Lionel Richie sure has its perks, but Nicole proved that she is more than just her father’s daughter when she created her own jewellery line, House of Harlow. And this necklace is the proof of her growth and success.
Rachel Zoe’s Fringe Dress – Wearing a design from her own clothing line, this dress proved that there is no other boho queen other than Rachel Zoe.
wrath
These fifty shades of flaming hot red pieces will surely make the whole room feel the sizzle in you.
MANGO
Ruffled hem dresses are cute, but a ruffled hem top is your safest bet for a casual but still dressy look.
GIRLONDON SOMETHING BORROWED
While the collar says business, the way the material hugs and accentuates the woman’s curves scream play
Who said flats can’t be sexy? The heart buckle on top of the shoe screams Lolita like it’s nobody’s business.
FIGLIARINA Studded hobo bag? Yes, please!
zalora Pumps may spell serious, but add an inch of platform and purchase it in a bold colour and it’ll say sexy in right away.
SOMETHING BORROWED Anything red easily spells wrath, but add it with chains and you get a dominatrix.
greed
Limitation is the key to avoid excessive shopping, but these beautiful pieces under a thousand bucks may leave you wanting to have it all.
SOMETHING BORROWED
zalora Heels are always nice to splurge for, but when you can get a good and comfortable pair for more than what you bargained for, you know you’ll have to buy it STAT.
So many people hate this trend, but let’s face it, mandals ain’t going anywhere! It can be stylish with the right outfit and it is a hundred percent comfortable too.

gluttony
You don’t have to worry about unwanted calories because these cute pineapple pieces are guaranteed to give you none.
MISS JONES X AVA
Wrap skirts are very feminine and chic at the same time. Add a pop of pineapple prints and things are about to go crazy.
A white button down or a chambray button down is must-have. But for days when you’re feeling whimsically quirky, a pineapple print button down top is your best bet.
Pull a Blair Waldorf, but quirkier with a cute pineapple print head scarf.
aranaz
keds
Ditch your usual black clutch, and go for an modern black clutch with a pineapple smacked in the middle.
sloth For days when you’re feeling tired and weary, just follow these lazy girl style hacks and look impossibly polished in a blink of an eye.
Whether it’s raining or not, it’s always tropical with these pair of pineapple sneakers.
1 Carry a black sharpie!
If your favorite pair black gladiator heels are starting to grow old and you don’t have the time to drop it a shoe repair store, just dab the sharpie on the troubled parts for temporary repair. This goes for anything black that you own!
2 Follow the
third piece rule. If you’re in a rush to head out the door and you feel like your outfit is too basic, just throw on a jacket, a vest, or a cardigan to take your outfit to the next level.

Oftentimes people have the connotation that anything foreign is superb in quality. But these local brands prove that you don’t need a Western label to look fab.
pink manila
Pink Manila has taken Metro Manila by storm with their well selected collection of dainty tops and cute dresses. Most of their pieces are sold out upon release because their pieces are TDF and the price tags won’t break your bank as well.
Tim and Franc Dubbed as the bad boys in your closet, their pieces are always chic and classy with an edgy twist that will never fail in turning heads as you walk down the street.

Marcy’s Jewelry
shop carrice
Shop Carrise are known for their ultra feminine looks that could make even the most rebellious girl in class scream for pastel. Their collections of structured shorts and off shoulder tops are too beautiful for words.
ava.ph
VA has always been known as one of the top online shopping websites in the country, but they took their brand to the next level when they partnered up with fashion blogger and host, Kim Jones, in creating a beautiful collection of pieces every woman should and would want to own.
A brand that creates and carries simple, but always elegant jewellery pieces that can turn anywoman into a Grace Kelly.
3 Invest in a wallet that
can double as a clutch. Investing in a classic and spacious wallet that can serve as your clutch will save you from standing in front of your closet wondering what handbag will carry for the day.
4 Shop in the same stores.
If you shop in the same stores, chances are the styles of their pieces are the same making it so much easier for you to mix and match your clothes.
5 Own a lot of baubles.
Accessories can easily spice up your looks and you don’t have to worry about over accessorizing because excessorising is in! Plus, accessories don’t have to be expensive. They just have to look it.

"I've Never Looked or Felt Better." My sister gave me the Beauty Food Bible because I spend a lot of money on skin care products and she's always trying to get me to eat better. “I was skeptical, but willing to give it a try. Well, I'm so glad she insisted that I read it. It's truly changed my life and the way i think about food and my skin." After reading the book I'm much more careful about what I put in my body because I know it's going to come out on my skin, and let me tell you, I've never looked or felt better. “And my skin, which used to break out around that time of the month, doesn't freak out around my period any more. It was really fun and easy to read. Since my job requires a lot of entertaining, and now I know what to order (and drink) when eating out. This is a MUST READ if you care about your skin!! and your health.” – Gina "The Beauty Food Bible Is The Solution..." “When I heard about the Beauty Food Bible book I thought this is perfect. We spend so much money on external products to keep our faces looking young and beautiful. “This book teaches you what to eat to make your face look beautiful from the inside out. Not only do you look more beautiful but your body feels healthy. “I was so happy how this book covered the different problems one can have with their skin, and what to eat to improve it. So for whatever you are trying to improve, the beauty food bible is the solution. It is detailed and teaches you what you need to know, and what a FUN read.” – Michelle

week
THE 3 WEEK DIET is a revolutionary new diet system that not only guarantees to help you lose weight — it promises to help you lose more weight — all body fat — faster than anything else you’ve ever tried.
23 Pounds in 21 Days!
17 Pounds in 12 Days!
You don’t know me but my name is Elisa and I bought The 3 Week Diet one month ago. I want to share my weight loss story with you, Brian.
I purchased your 3 Week Diet program before Christmas and started it on 21st January and it was a very informative and easily readable book.
Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Your diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing was wrong and a waste of my time.
I’ve lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I’m just concerned that I’m losing too much too quickly. I will admit I haven’t followed the guide exactly. I’m not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
The 3 Week Diet plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything you said and lost 23 pounds in first three weeks. I’m now starting the diet again from the start to lose the 7 pounds more. You have changed my life, and I am incredibly thankful.
It clearly works and if I’d followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I’d lose . So thanks again for the information. I’ve never purchased anything like this as they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise. Plus my girlfriend can’t get enough of my new body! James R.

I’ve lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It is truly like magic. Thank you so much. Vanessa B.
Simply put, what most diets accomplish in 2-3 months, The 3 Week Diet does in just 21 days, including: ▪ 12-23 pound reduction in body weight ▪ Faster metabolism ▪ 2-4 inches from your waistline
▪ Increased energy
▪ 2-3 size drop in dress size
▪ Healthier hair & skin
▪ Increased muscle tone
▪ Improved cholesterol levels
▪ Decreased cellulite
▪ And a host of other healthy benefits
Here is What's Included in The 3 Week
Introduction Manual The Introduction Manual is more than just an introduction to the diet. Instead, it discusses the science behind how we gain and lose weight as well as what absolutely needs to be done to attack that stubborn body fat that, until now, has been so challenging to get rid of. In addition to this, The Introduction Manual will discuss the specific supplements recommended for this diet to be ultra-successful and the science behind those supplements and how they help you lose fat, increase metabolism and become much more healthy and energetic.
Diet System:
Mindset & Motivational Manual Every great success starts with a decision to change your mindset. It’s your mindset and your internal motivation that get you the physical changes you want to see. This manual will give you the techniques to focus on your goals and remain motivated throughout The 3 Week Diet and beyond into your everyday life. The Mindset & Motivation Manual includes a ton of high-quality and usable mindset and motivational tips, tricks, tools and secrets to not only get the ball rolling, but to ensure you stick with your diet and keep all your lost weight off forever!
Diet Manual
Workout Manual
The Diet Manual is where the “rubber meets the road.” Unlike those “one-size-fits-all” diets, The 3 Week Diet Manual will show you how to calculate your lean body mass vs. fat percentage and will then provide you with a specifically tailored rapid weight loss plan to suit your body type. You’ll know exactly what to eat every day, how much to eat and when to eat it. You’ll never be guessing—just follow the outline and you WILL lose weight.
While The Diet Manual alone will produce truly amazing amounts of fat loss, The Workout Manual can help you to nearly double your results. This was specifically designed for those who don’t have time to go to the gym every day—but it also includes a gym workout for those who do. And even if you don’t like to work out, I’ve developed an exercise program that provides “no excuses” because they take just 20-minutes a day, 3-4 days per week.
In addition to this, you’ll discover the exact foods you must eat to maximize your body’s fat burning potential and what foods you must avoid at all costs because of their ability to slow down or even stop the fat burning process.
The simple fact is, exercising for fat burning is not about spending hours in the gym everyday. This is because fat loss is dependent on intensity—not time. Yes, it’s true you can lose weight spending an hour or so on the treadmill—but you’re never going to get rid of the stubborn body fat that way. The key to smashing fat-loss plateaus lies in short and intense, full body exercises that get every muscle in your body metabolically active.
The Diet Manual is, quite frankly, the ultimate method for producing extremely fast fat loss results. And it doesn’t stop there. Also included in The Diet Manual is my ultimate, supersimple plan for keeping the weight you’ve lost OFF forever, while still being able to enjoy your favorite foods. This allows you to live a “normal” life without worrying about the weight coming back (you’ll love this!).
When you add a quality workout program with The 3 Week Diet, you truly have the ultimate “knockout punch” for extremely fast fat loss. The Workout Manual also includes my ultimate Midsection Miracle Workout, which contains the only two abs exercises you will ever need if you desire a set of 6-pack abs. Many have said that this exercise alone is worth much more than the price of my system!
21 Days from Right Now! The great thing about THE 3 WEEK DIET system is that you can actually begin the program in the next few minutes because I’ve made the entire system (all four manuals) available in PDF form, by Instant Download. And because I don’t want price to stand in your way of losing up to 23 pounds of body fat in the next 21-days, I’ve cut your investment in The 3 Week Diet from $97 all the way down to the very low price of just $47! Keep in mind that $47 is less than the price of most monthly gym memberships, or just one session with a personal trainer…and neither of them promise to give your money back if you don’t see results… But I do!
Lose The Weight Or It's FREE! Unlike most diet books, gym memberships, weight loss plans and fat-burner pills on the market, The 3 Week Diet comes with my personal, 100% no-nonsense Lose The Weight Or It’s FREE guarantee. It’s just this simple: If at anytime in the next 60-days you have not lost the weight I promised, or… if you’re just not completely satisfied with The 3 Week Diet for any reason whatsoever, just let me know and I will personally issue you a prompt and courteous refund — no questions asked.
chicken curry Posted by:edsablove// August 27, 2015
M
ore commonly known as curry chicken to us Singaporeans, this dish is a family favourite! With more than 8 spices in a good curry recipe, there’s no wonder why the taste of chicken curry keeps our appetite going strong and lasting. There are also two types of chicken that are mainly used in this dish, the first being the well-cooked ones, and the second being the freshly dipped ones, both has their pros & cons. The well cooked type are usually cooked alongside with the curry sauce. This creates the familiar whiff of good ol’ chicken that blends extremely well with the coconut-y curry scent. It makes the taste of the curry much more satisfying too, with the inclusion of chicken protein into the mix. The only problem is that most of the taste of the chicken went into the curry, and the pieces of meat inside usually ends up being a little on the drier end. It’s still tasty though! The other type, the freshly dipped ones, are two dishes prepared individually instead of together. The curry is usually made with spices, coconut milk and base ingredients such as potatoes and coconut milk to give that thickness, and the chicken is prepared in the chef’s preference, roasted, baked, steamed, or pan-fried. At the end, the cooked chicken is dipped into the curry and you can enjoy a tasty chicken dish together with the good ol’ curry. The only down side is that the curry might not be as satisfying due to the lack of chicken protein infused within the dish. There are some restaurants which cooks chicken curry the extravagant way, by preparing the curry with chicken, taking out the chicken, and put in freshly made ones. This doubles the cost and the price of the dish. But it’s definitely tasty as hell!

Relationships are opportunities to share The reason fоr rеlаtіng to someone еlѕе is fоr the орроrtunіtу to ѕhаrе whо wе are. Aррrоасhіng a rеlаtіоnѕhір аѕ аn орроrtunіtу tо ѕhаrе аttrасtѕ individuals who rеflесt оur belief іn our own completeness. Whеn оur rеlаtіоnѕhірѕ аrе ѕеt up this wау, wе are аblе tо interact wіth the оthеr реrѕоn as twо complete іndіvіduаlѕ coming together tо ѕhаrе еxреrіеnсеѕ. Wе wіll bоth know and еxреrіеnсе thе іdеа оf реrѕоnаl fulfіllmеnt.
THE RESULTS OF EXPECTATIONS AND JUDGMENTS When wе put еxресtаtіоnѕ оr value judgments on thе outcome оf оur rеlаtіоnѕhірѕ, we nеvеr асtuаllу get tо еxреrіеnсе the rеаl rеаѕоn wе сrеаtеd thе particular іntеrасtіоn in thе fіrѕt рlасе. Fоr thіѕ rеаѕоn, іt іѕ іmроrtаnt to ассерt relationships fоr whаt thеу аrе. If we invalidate what wе have drawn іntо оur lіvеѕ, wе are rеаllу іnvаlіdаtіng оurѕеlvеѕ.
BALANCED RELATIONSHIPS it іѕ important to undеrѕtаnd why we have drаwn сеrtаіn individuals into our lіvеѕ. Wе uѕuаllу hаvе attracted others tо allow ourselves the орроrtunіtу to grow and tо give uѕ mоrе іnfоrmаtіоn аbоut whо we are. The idea іѕ nоt tо bесоmе like each оthеr. Thе іdеа іѕ tо аllоw each individual tо bе thе strongest, hеаlthіеѕt and mоѕt bаlаnсеd individual thеу саn роѕѕіblу bе. Sоmеtіmеѕ wе might forget this bесаuѕе we thіnk unity іѕ the рrоduсt оf соnfоrmіtу. Unіtу іѕ thе рrоduсt оf grаntіng аnd аllоwіng equality tо unіԛuеnеѕѕ and diversity. In a bаlаnсеd rеlаtіоnѕhір, wе dо not lоѕе оur іndіvіduаlіtу -- juѕt thе opposite occurs. Wе bесоmе the stronger rеflесtіоnѕ of each other on аll thаt is possible fоr еасh оf us. The рurроѕе оf аnу rеlаtіоnѕhір іѕ tо аllоw us tо bе mоrе оf who wе choose tо bе. It іѕ lіkе looking іntо a mіrrоr and ѕееіng аnоthеr аѕресt оf оurѕеlvеѕ. This dоеѕ not mеаn our rеlаtіоnѕhірѕ will bе an exact 1-1 reflection оf whо we аrе. Rаthеr, our rеlаtіоnѕhірѕ become a rеflесtіоn of whаt the two of uѕ hаvе agreed tо lеаrn аnd teach each оthеr. The best роѕѕіblе relationship is a bаlаnсеd ѕhаrіng, without dереndеnсу. Eасh раrtу in a rеlаtіоnѕhір hаѕ ѕtrоng, nаturаl аttrіbutеѕ thаt саn аѕѕіѕt thе оthеr іn thеіr grоwth. If оur ѕuрроrt іѕ aimed at сrеаtіng a ѕрасе fоr оur раrtnеr оr friend tо grоw іn thеіr оwn self-support, thе rеlаtіоnѕhір wіll be a happy and flourishing оnе. Thіnk оf іt thіѕ way, instead оf соnѕtаntlу dоlіng оut ѕmаll ріесеѕ of brеаd, wоuldn’t it bе truе and lаѕtіng bеnеfіt tо tеасh ѕоmеоnе hоw tо bаkе their own brеаd? If wе are іn a relationship whеrе wе are giving, giving, gіvіng, іt ѕеndѕ out thе mеѕѕаgе tо оur partners thаt we do not believe they have thе аbіlіtу tо match оr mосk up their own vibrations of completeness and ѕuffісіеnсу. Offеr support tо оthеrѕ as lоng аѕ іt does nоt rерrеѕеnt the іdеа wе are tаkіng оn rеѕроnѕіbіlіtу fоr them. Wе саn’t bе a rеѕроnѕіbility fоr оthеr аdultѕ. Our attempts to dо thіѕ uѕuаllу lеаdѕ uѕ vеrу ԛuісklу tо еxаmіnе оur оwn issues аbоut boundaries, bесаuѕе tаkіng оn аnоthеr реrѕоn’ѕ responsibilities brіngѕ uѕ to the оutѕіdе оf whеrе wе рrеfеr tо be. Thе іdеа of rеѕроnѕіbіlіtу іѕ nоt to lау the blаmе оn аnуоnе, rather it allows us thе frееdоm tо сhооѕе what we prefer.
In a balanced rеlаtіоnѕhір, еасh оf uѕ can ѕtіll do whаt wе рrеfеr tо do. Wе don’t hаvе to сhаngе оur lіvеѕ just bесаuѕе ѕоmеоnе else dіѕаррrоvеѕ. Thеrе іѕ no rеаѕоn tо аttеmрt аnуthіng thаt wе аrе not. Dоіng thаt only brings uѕ more оf whаt wе are nоt. Wе wіll оnlу bесоmе mоrе unсоmfоrtаblе, unhарру, unhеаlthу, and unѕuссеѕѕful, іf we keep trуіng to bе ѕоmеthіng wе are nоt. It is vital tо еxрrеѕѕ whо we аrе, bе whо wе аrе, аnd ѕау whаt we think. If wе knоw we аrе functioning in truе реrѕоnаl integrity, еvеn іf others around uѕ dоn’t lіkе іt or wаnt us tо сhаngе, wе соntіnuе tо be whо we are. If wе аrе dоіng whаt wе еnjоу аnd love іn lіfе, іt very quickly provides us соnfіrmаtіоn оf whо wе rеаllу аrе. Thе іdеа is always to relax, have fun аnd bе оurѕеlvеѕ. Remember, anyone we attract іntо оur lіvеѕ by being ourselves bеlоngѕ іn our lіvеѕ. Bеіng of ѕеrvісе to ourselves аnd оthеrѕ іѕ оnlу роѕѕіblе when we are complete within оur оwn ѕеlvеѕ. If wе аrе nоt fullу ourselves, then the оthеr person іѕ nоt really іn a rеlаtіоnѕhір wіth the rеаl uѕ аnуwау!

How do we show we really love someone
?
Wе can rеаllу ѕhоw we love ѕоmеbоdу bу accepting thеm fоr who they аrе and bу allowing thеm tо be just where thеу аlrеаdу аrе. It is vеrу іmроrtаnt not tо put any еxресtаtіоn оn hоw it must bе, оr regret hоw іt wаѕ or was not. When we live in the mоmеnt аnd truѕt ourselves еnоugh to be in each and еvеrу mоmеnt, we always attract whоmеvеr is аррrорrіаtе fоr ourselves. Thе bеѕt аdvісе еvеr gіvеn for rеlаtіоnѕhірѕ is tо truѕt, let gо, and bе оurѕеlvеѕ. Trust іѕ thе glue fоr аnу rеlаtіоnѕhір -- the trust we feel for оurѕеlvеѕ, аѕ wеll аѕ thе truѕt wе have wіth оthеrѕ.
Relationships
Why wоuld any of uѕ create a whole series оf wrong rеlаtіоnѕhірѕ? Thе reason itself іѕ bаѕісаllу very ѕіmрlе. Either wе hаvе fоrgоttеn whо wе аrе, оr wе аrе аfrаіd tо ассерt who we are. Whо wе are іѕ асtuаllу оur naturally сеntеrеd ѕеlvеѕ іn a ѕtаtе оf bаlаnсе and соmрlеtе self-acceptance. Aѕ lоng as we rеѕіѕt bеіng оur natural, bаlаnсеd selves, thе rеаl uѕ, wе wіll nоt аttrасt harmonious, long lаѕtіng, or hеаlthу rеlаtіоnѕhірѕ.
Onсе wе bесоmе truе tо ourselves, wе automatically attract the rіght реrѕоn, еvеn аѕ wе mоvе thrоugh changes. If someone dесіdеѕ to сhаngе оr leave a rеlаtіоnѕhір with us, rеаlіzing thеіr еnеrgу is no longer in hаrmоnу wіth ours. Thеrеfоrе, bу understanding thіѕ еvеn іf ѕоmеоnе lеаvеѕ uѕ nothing wіll rеаllу bе missing. We cannot mіѕѕ аnуthіng frоm a vіbrаtіоn that wе аrе nоt trulу a part оf.
DOMINIQUE TIU fashion blogger
www.konichiwear.com
facebook.com/konichiwear @dominiquetiu @dominiquetiu @dominiquetiu
Q: Can you share with us a bit of the background of your blog? My blog is www.konichiwear.com. It’s basically a fashion diary for my day-today outfits and thoughts. It has evolved over time from focusing on just fashion to talking about my journey as a person and the various steps I’ve taken to enrich my life and finally expanding it to also capture my travels, my fitness regimen, and some beauty-related stuff. It’s basically a vanity platform for me to share my various facets to the general public—with a bit of acerbic humour here and there. Q: Why did you decide to start a blog? I started my blog a few months after college, when I was trying to find a way to express myself—my friends suggested I talk about fashion since it was the most overt out of all my interests and passion. So at the time, I was learning all about fashion styles and I really liked the principle and thinking behind Asian Fashion like Japanese fashion, Korean, Chinese, but at the same time my aesthetics were more of Western so I wanted to come up with a blog where I was tried to find a middle ground to marry both seemingly disparate styles. Because I was Eurasian myself, it felt like the best approach hence: Konichiwear—a portmanteau of Konichiwa and Wear.
Q: Why did you choose to decide to focus on fashion? Fashion has always been an interest to me even as a child. What I love about fashion is that it seemed like a means for “story telling” or at least, a jump-off point for conversations. I also like disproving the misconception that fashion is for the only for the shallow minded because fashion is so much more than that. It also talks about human behaviour, art, and pop culture… we just have to be very critical.
Q: With the number of fashion blogs popping up, what makes your blog different? My blog is lengthy! I’ve always been a long-form writer and I know for a fact that with the Millennials’ short attention span, my entries would most likely be tedious but fortunately, I do have a niche audience who’ve been with me from the very beginning to current, who appreciate my nuggets of wisdom that I impart about life, career, and love, on top of fashion and beauty. Q: What for you is the best thing about being a fashion blogger? Having a reason to buy clothes endlessly! So when I buy, I can now rationalize: “I need this top because I need blog content” when in reality, I just want to shop. Also, you can liken it to a hobby—getting to do something you love for fun. Q: What for you is the best thing about being a fashion blogger? I don’t really dwell so much on superlatives—I believe that regardless of what industry you are, people will always have comments to praise or disparage you. I think it’s a matter of taking that information to improve yourself and your craft. I mean there are generally good comments where people tell me they are able to relate to my experience and learn something from my words—I actually love that sort, it’s like I’ve somehow like-minded individuals!
Q: I'm sure there are many aspiring bloggers out there. Do you have any advice for them? Stay true to yourself and your craft. Don’t blog for profit, blog for passion. It’s not a platform for anyone to gain monetary benefits or stardom, it’s basically a very “pure” form of medium to gain knowledge on topics you enjoy. Q: Complete this sentence:: People should visit my blog because" It’s a different brand of fashiontainment Q: Any last words? Visit my blog and enjoy!!!

“
I’m not a morning person, but when I was in Western Australia last four day weekend, I became a different version of myself. I woke up early at 7.30am every day, had a delicious breakfast before hitting the streets and exploring the city. I don’t usually get up early on a weekend or holiday.
We landed in Perth and stayed there for two nights during our trip. It is mild winter in Western Australia right now. The weather is generally cold and wet. It’s constantly changing from rainy to sunny like a girl’s mood. She can be happy for now and quickly feel upset in 5 minutes later. Daily temperatures (from 12 degrees Celcius to 21 degrees) remind me so much of the chill and windy Autumn in Hanoi. It’s the perfect season to wear those trendy printed scarves; cozy faux fur sweaters, leather studded booties and statement motor-biker jackets. I was freezing, standing in the middle of an empty street early in the morning, to have these photos taken. There were two things that kept me warm: an excitement of being in Australia finally and the company of my beloved photographer who wasn’t interested of taking pictures but still agreed to help because he knew it would make me happy.

I wasn't sure which one I liked better, the classic Mackage beige trench coat with knee-high boots or the beautiful and empty Adelaide Avenue in winter at the background. But I'm quite sure, this is by far my most favorite fashion-travel photo shoot till date.
O
n the last day in Perth, we were quite lucky as the sun came out, and the sky was clear for our #streetstyle photoshoot. It was really nice walking down the streets of Perth city in the morning. The air was fresh, the wind was strong, and the temperature was so cold that it really woke me up. It was the perfect season for trench coats, sweaters, and knee high boots in all styles. I bought this Mackage trench coat last year and finally had a chance to wear it. It is the first designer coat that I've owned, and it's one of my best investment pieces I must say. A well-structured and fitted trench coat is so classic, timeless, and versatile. It can instantly make us look stylish even when paired with the most basic items like T-shirts and Jeans. I bought a couple of outerwear pieces with me on this trip, but I kept wearing the same trench coat over and over again. If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen that.
We walked a few blocks away from our hotel, followed along the Swan River, and passed by some pretty good-looking streets that made my heart sing. I love capturing the beauty of each city I've been through its streets. That's why I was so crazy about this street style shoot even though I already had some photos taken at King's Park earlier by my dear photographer. I had to trouble him to do another photoshoot for me at my ideal location. Thank you so much, my dear, for being so patient to take my photos even though you hate doing it. You have no idea how much it means to me. :: OUTFIT :: Trench Coat, Mackage Black and Gold Sweater, H&M Polka Dot Jeans, Zara Sunglasses, Alexander McQueen Black Suede Boots, Aldo Small Lock Handbag, Valentino Photos by: K.Kline
Visiting
Margaret
River
When I told my friends that I would be going to Perth, the first thing everyone recommended was to visit Margaret River. And I did. After spending our first night in Perth, we hired a car and got ready for our road trip the next day. To be honest with you, I have never gone on a road trip before in my entire life, so I was a little bit nervous and excited at the same time. Roger Easton saved our life when he invented GPS (Global Positioning System). We had no idea of the places we were going and how to get there except for a name "Margaret River" in our head. After sitting for a few hours in the car, driving through many rainstorms and sunshine, we arrived at the Pullman Bunker Resort Hotel in Naturaliste, which I already mentioned in the previous blog post. The next morning, we started our journey again as Margaret River was still an hour away. It was hard to get out of this comfortable bed in a cold and rainy morning, but this ocean view made it all worth it. If only it didn't rain all of sudden, I would have spent a little bit more time hand-holding my honey bear while walking by the beach. We quickly checked out and started our journey South where Margaret River was waiting for us. It didn't take us much time driving from Naturaliste to Margaret River. Half an hour later, we arrived at our destination. First thing first, breakfast for the champions. This was by far the most delicious Smoke salmon eggs benedict I've ever tried. It was so good that I had to order it again the next day.Lots of choices for food lovers.
As long as our tummies were happy, we moved on. The further we drove, the more beautiful things we saw. Besides, endless rainbows accompanying made the entire journey so enjoyable. At last, we had a glimpse of our destination from afar. We stopped our car, quickly jumped outside to catch the fresh (and cold) air, and absorbed the ocean life as much as we could. Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse looked stunning from where I was standing and magnificent up close. "Historic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is situated at the most south westerly tip of Australia, standing at the point where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet- 8 kilometres west of Australia"- according to their website. After climbing up 39 meters from the ground level, on a narrow spiral staircase, we were completely mind-blown by this stunning blue backdrop of the ocean meeting sky, white waves crashing to shores and another beautiful rainbow in the middle of the ocean. Leaving the 39 meters above the ground Lighthouse, we went to the next adventure at 42 meters underground. It's the Jewel Cave- the biggest show cave in Southern Australia with massive chambers, that's what I'm talking about. Suddenly, I felt so important when everyone kept talking about Crystal. And that awkward moment when I realized, they were actually talking about these sparkling crystalline formations, including the Waterfall, the Organ Pipe and the world's largest straw stalactite in a tourist cave. Not me. *so sad*
We spent 45 minutes walking to every corner of the cave and feeling a little bit jealous with how generous Mother Nature was to Australia. I was hesitant at first to come all the way from Perth (it was a long drive), but after all, I would think otherwise. I would feel so regretful if I didn't make an effort to be here. Thank you Margaret River Region for your wonderful treats. It's time for us to head back "home" in Perth. Bring on another 300km drive journey. We came back to the Hyatt Regency hotel in Perth just in time for this delicous dinner before every restaurant was closed. It was only 8pm on Sunday night. My last day in Perth, it was raining early in the morning (as expected). Or perhaps, the city was upset that I had to leave? *just kidding*. But it always feels so emotional on the last day of the vacation, don't you agree? A morning in the park was a morning well-spent. I forgot the last time I visited a park in the morning to feel the crisp air on my face, listen to a bird chirping and watch people passing by. It's the most peaceful and serene moment yet we often take it for granted.
People often think happiness comes from luxury, wealth, and status. But the truth is, happiness is intangible, is simple, and is free. To me, happiness was when I bumped into a garden full of fresh roses. It was when we had this whole beautiful park for ourselves. It was when I went for a walk with my boo along these beautiful streets in Perth. Or, when we listened to the song "Over the rainbow" played by 26 bell Carillon at Bell Tower while looking at the Swan River, King's Park and Perth City. That was happiness to me! These views will never get old. Every time traveling to a new place, I feel like I've grown up a little bit more. I've learned new things about the country that I've been to, the people that I've met, the lifestyle that I've seen. I've learned how to deal with different situations and be grateful every single day. I wish I could have more time to explore other things that many people recommended in Western Australia like wine tasting or dolphin watching. But every "Hello" ends with a "Goodbye". I don't know when I'll see you again, Australia! But I'm certain that this is not the last. This is just a goodbye, for now.

White has been a colour that I've had taken interest in since the start of this year. So, here you have me looking angelic, but yet grungy. It's a simple combination of a white jacket, over with an oversized men's tee, coupled with my white platform sneakers, and a pair of socks as usual. With the intention of fanciness in mind, I've added some stickers from Daiso onto my platforms, as well as my chubby cheeks, finishing it with a touch of darkness on my lips. Writer/Model

Crafted with ethereal theme in mind, I was striped down with no fancy make up. Just foundation and white face paint. Looking like a true-blue alien exploring on earth. ‌ Surreal is reality. Reality is surreal. Confusion between both worlds are hard to differentiate. When I wake up from a dream, am I facing reality or is it still a dream within a dream? Thick layers of delusional atmosphere stacks together as I tried to pierce through them. So where is the end point to face reality? Or is reality just surreal? What if these whole world of my beings being alive are just a dream? I am just a dream? Writer/Model

Empty NESTERS “Many people are scare of having funky hair colours as it will limit their outfit choices. However on the other hand, I feel that crazy coloured hair gives me more variety in my outfit. It’s part of the enjoyment of being a 90s kid. Part of grunge, I styled myself with a pair of distressed Boyfriend jeans, plain cropped top, a biker jacket and high platform shoes.”

Wolves Today I decided to be a hardworking grunge girl. Stripped away from my usual long tees look, I wore a dress with fringes spread out at the ends, layered it with a denim shirt and top it off with a hat. Being hardworking, that means I can't go without heels right? Heels to me is not your usual stilettos, it's monster chunky platforms! Since my dress is long, it looked great with my platform heels.
