The most amazing thing about putting a publication together is seeing how colourful images blend from page to page. The best thing about having it digitally is that I don’t have to carry around my, once weighing over 5kg document bag. Now all I need is my trusty iPad, my light weight MacBook Air, and anytime, anywhere, I can hope on to see what I love seeing best.

In the last couple of months, we got feedback about our /shop feature in the website that it only has brands from overseas and not our local warriors. With that in mind, we decided to put together /marketplace – vendors can sell their products in-stores (upon approval of the store that is), and consumers... well... they get to buy from them, of course.
Advertising Sales Manager
Like many other multi-stores you see around, I can’t say we’re oh-so-awesome/different. What I can say however is that it doesn’t matter? Be it Zalora, Megafash, SheIn or even our partners at Deja; the aim is to establish our own space and provide better, more precise, more enjoyable shopping environment for our shoppers and a “marketplace” where our vendors can increase their sales revenue.

SHOPPING: CURB YOUR SHOPPING EXPENSES
Shopping is an inevitable part of any woman’s life. Purchasing a top that you’ve been eyeing for over a week, or walking around the mall, and seeing your favorite store on sale would make any woman jump for joy. While shopping is undeniably fun, it can drain your hard-earned cash in a blink of an eye if you’re not smart about it. If you don’t want to end up like Rebecca Bloomwood did in the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic, below are a few notes to keep in mind the next time you invite your friends for a shopping marathon. SHOPPING: CURB YOUR SHOPPING EXPENSES
Leave your credit card at home.
To avoid being debt-ridden because of credit card companies and banks, it is best to leave your plastics at home, and no that pair of glittered pumps is not an emergency!
Come up with a list.
Jot down on a piece of paper the things you plan or need to shop for, and stick to it. Not only does it keep you from having to spend all of what you currently have, sometimes even more, it also helps you manage your time wisely.
Bring just the right amount of cash.
When you don’t have extra cash to spend, you are forced to stick only to the list of essentials that you need to purchase. Always stick to a budget so you won’t be tempted to overspend. That way you will have more than enough money in case of an emergency.
Shop with a friend.
Your BFF can help control your spending habits when you know that you can’t. When you have a support system to help curb your shopping frenzy, there’s a better chance that you won’t fall into temptation.
Don’t splurge on trends.
Just because something is fashionable now, doesn’t mean your whole wardrobe has to be filled with it. Instead of purchasing new tops, dresses, and pants in Marsala, buy a bag in the color of the year which you can incorporate into your outfit effortlessly. Remember that trends come and go, but as a wise man once said, “style is eternal.” W W W. S A U C E I N K . C O M

It’s incredible how handbags have changed from a necessity to an accessory that can elevate a woman’s look in an instant. Like a jewelry piece, bags have become an investment for stylish women. That is why it is a must to show these bags some TLC to ensure that it will remain pristine and looking brand new. Proper storage and cleaning are important especially for bags that have intricate materials like leather, textile, or those that have metallic buttons and embellishments. Make sure that bags will remain looking brand new after months or even years with these helpful STORAGE tips.
24
Prior to storing your bags, empty the bag completely of the items inside it. If the bag looks grubby, clean it before placing the bag inside its dust bag or cabinet.
While bags may be hung on a hook, this shouldn’t be done for a long period because hanging the piece can put too much strain on the handle of the bag. So if possible, have the bag sit on a shelf if you’re not using it.
Some bags have a storage bag that comes with the piece upon purchase, but if it doesn’t, you can use affordable pillowcases for your bags.
Fill the bag with balls of cotton, tissue paper, or crumpled newspaper to help maintain the shape of the bag.

Fashion is definitely not something new. Long before the birth of laptops, smart phones, and the World Wide Web, fashion existed and thrived thanks to fearless men and women who did not just follow the trends set by the society, but dared to create their own. The past century was filled with different, but always dazzling looks. From the wild 20’s to the free 70’s, every decade created an iconic look that deserves to be incorporated in today’s looks even if it is not considered necessary in today’s society anymore. With that, here’s a throwback on the previous decade’s best, and still wearable looks.
As women were able to score more rights for themselves from voting to competing in the Olympic Games, fashion during the 20’s got braver, liberating, and more fun too.

Skipping sunscreen
How many times have you been told (or heard from your parents) that sunscreen is an important part of any person’s beauty routine? It keeps the skin on your face from being damaged by the harmful UV rays. Whether it’s sunny or rainy, dab on sunscreen before heading out to the world. Your 40 year old self will thank you for it.
Using face creams or moisturizers not for your skin type This here is a big no-no. Not only does it cause your skin to possibly breakout, it may also trigger your skin to become oily or dry when your skin type happens to be perfect already. This is one of the reasons why going to a dermatologist is important because s/he will be able to let you know the right creams, oils or moisturizers to use on your face. Applying the wrong ones will cause your skin to age prematurely which we’re pretty sure you don’t want to happen.
Keeping your face always glowing, smooth, and healthy is easy when you keep these simple to-dos in mind.
By Kat D
There’s no doubt about it, looking or sometimes even c the beauty routine we were we’re so busy attending to day jobs. We tend to forget a beauty regimen is for our premature aging at the onset ty habits you might be doin mately harm

Not seeing a dermatologist
Skin doctors are not just there to zap your zits when they start popping out. You should be visiting a derma at least once a month to get an idea on the best treatment for your skin type. Remember to never treat your own zits or they may get worse. See a doctor immediately if you develop any rashes or skin irritations.
Leaving makeup on your face overnight Another beauty blunder you might be guilty of committing is neglecting to wash off your makeup at night. It is essential that all make up is taken off (yes, that includes your mascara), to help your skin breathe and regenerate overnight.
Using your BFFs makeup
Unless you’re alright with developing skin irritation, sharing of makeup brushes and the makeup gunk itself is not advised. To keep your skin healthy and glowing, use your own makeup and leave your friend’s lipstick or blush cream alone. Invest in your own set and make sure they’re hypo-allergenic and suited for your skin type.
T I P S & T R I C K S : 8 T I P S F O R A H E A LT H Y A N D S H I N I N G S K I N
Tip 1: Drink Water Water has long been considered as the most efficient natural treatment or an almost free treatment for any skin condition because of its being alkaline, with pH 7.3. It prevents dehydration, which is capable of producing sebum or oil from the sebaceous glands. Your skin needs water in order for it to function best, thus doctors and nutritionists suggest that a daily intake of between 6 to 8 glasses of water per day is highly needed.
Tip 2: Watch Your Diet Nutrition plays a vital role in skin health too. Specific foods such as those acidic foods and dairy products are said to be effective in causing an allergic reaction in some people. Also, one of the widely debated topics in the area of nutrition today is chocolate. Some say that chocolate does affect the condition of the skin, while others say it doesn’t. Whatever the result may be, the best advice is just to follow a nutritious diet that has a number of fresh fruits and green-leafy veggies, as well as fiber. I S S U U. C O M / S A U C E I N K
T I P S & T R I C K S : 8 T I P S F O R A H E A LT H Y A N D S H I N I N G S K I N
Tip 3: Consider Exfoliants Many experts say that exfoliating your skin is another great way to attain a beautiful skin. So, try to invest in a good body exfoliant or ìloofahî, as it is commonly called, as it is capable of eliminating the dead skin cells from your body. Accordingly, this should be done once or twice a week so to free the skin to breathe. What’s more, exfoliants help to put off ingrown hair from developing. However, it is essential to avoid using any body exfoliant on the skin on the face. The main reason for this precaution is that the facial tissue is more sensitive and finer than those tissues of the body.
Tip 4: Consider a Healthy Routine for Facial Care When it comes to facial skin care, getting into a healthy beauty routine is not bad. Most of the doctors today greatly suggest that you cleanse, moisturize and tone your skin twice every day. When cleaning, never fail to remember cleaning the area on the neck, including your face. Apply a moisturizer or neck cream after. Before going to bed at night, always bear in mind to remove all make up. Clean your skin before you sleep, no matter how tired you may feel. It was found out that during the night, the skin goes through a process of elimination and cannot breathe properly if it is clogged with make up. And, you may also find out that sleeping with your make up on will cause your skin to “break out” with spots on it. When it comes to shaving for men, some men may experience shaving rashes. For many, these rashes lower their self-esteem, but this is actually not a big problem to think about. There are a lot ways to avoid rashes. Perhaps one of the best is to make sure that when shaving, the razor strokes are following the direction of hair growth. That’s simply it! W W W. S A U C E I N K . C O M
Tip 5: Heal Your Feet
T I P S & T R I C K S : 8 T I P S F O R A H E A LT H Y A N D S H I N I N G S K I N
When it comes to skin care, the feet are often neglected. So, if care you found no time for a professional pedicure, try to fill a football or basin with warm water and add your favorite essential oil. Soak your feet for about fifteen minutes. Then, dry them and apply a rough skin remover onto them. Rinse this off and dry you feet well. And, if you consider pedicure, simply add some body cream to your feet for an easy and quick fix pedicure.
Tip 6: Avoid Too Much Exposure to the Sun
One of the most common precautions when it comes to skin care is avoiding too much exposure to the sun. As you may know, over exposure to sunlight causes sunburn. So, while current sun blocks only block out the UVB rays and still let in harmful UVA rays, it is still wise to cover up before venturing into the hands of Apollo. If possible, use a wide brimmed hat while tending your garden to keep the sun from your face.
Tip 7: Exercise
Aside from considering a healthy diet, exercising your body also helps keep your skin healthy. Note that a proper exercise does not only keep the body fit by regulating the oxygen; it also improves the glow of the skin as well.
Tip 8: Take Enough Rest One common problem that face people is stress; the one which is not normal. It was found out that when a person is stressed, the adrenal cortex converts adrenal androgens to the hormone testosterone in male and female, which in turn results in overactive sebaceous glands. These adrenal androgens are released causing a double amount of testosterone, causing the face to be oily, while other areas of the body are still dry from dehydration. So, taking proper rest that includes 6 to 8 hours of undisturbed sleep daily is the best way to rejuvenate the skin. 54

Maximum Nutrition, Minimum Interference! The Paleo Diet and similarly, the Paleo Recipes you’re about to discover work by two fundamental principles: 1. Put maximum nutrition INTO your body... and... 2. Reduce or eliminate toxins and “interference”. The first one is obvious. Natural foods from the plant and animal world especially when organic and untouched by the horrors of modern food production and manufacturing are loaded with essential nutrition. The second principle is just as fundamental, but less apparent. It means that when we avoid toxins hidden packaged/processed food... and the many hidden toxins in commercial meat, fruits and vegetables... Our bodies begin to clean out and detoxify. This allows our cells to expend less energy in actually fighting off foreign substances and more on rebuilding, growth and rejuvenation. The result? We look better, feel better, and perform better.

Imagine seeing and feeling more positive changes in your body and health than most people see in years of other “diets”? It happens all the time... Because you’re finally getting all the vitamins, minerals, protein, fats and low GI carbohydrates that maintain the health of every organ in our body. There’s only one little problem...
Why Most People Fail to STAY On the Paleo Diet Now, given the amazing results and all the buzz about eating this way, you’d think it would be a breeze to stay on it, right? Well, for some it is. But not all. Because unfortunately, most of the advice out there like “eat like a caveman”... or just “meat and vegetables” gives you no real instructions for how to do this diet properly. So what happens? You get bored eating the same thing everyday... frustration goes... and then you quit. But it doesn’t have to be that way! PaleoHacks already provides the very best community for supporting and encouraging each other with cutting-edge info and truths about the Paleo Diet. And now, for the first time ever...

That’s really awesome to see your tracks played by huge names in the industry. No pressure at all though. It just shows you that you’re on the right track. 9. Since you also modelled for a couple of magazines before, what do you think is your most fearless look? I really like just being myself on photos - no make-up, comfortable clothes and high spirits. 10. If you had to pick between music and fashion; which would you pick? Why? I always pick music as it’s my passion and it’s something I feel very comfortable in. 11. What is Juicy M’s style? I don’t have any time for something else apart from DJ-ing now unfortunately. I wish I had more time to stay in different places and see more interesting stuff.

INNERPEACE On the last day in Phuket, I made an effort to wake up early for a yoga session, to have a delicious breakfast, and to spend some time by the beach. Having a couple of hours with nature, walking along the beach, feeling the soft sand between my toes, and running away every time big waves come close, was truly a luxury for me. My mind can never be free whenever I’m in Singapore, even just for 5 minutes. That’s why I appreciated the quietness of Panwa beach so much more. The entire beach belonged to me those moments. No bikini this time, just a colorful floral printed dress on me, which was exactly what had been missing out at this place. Hotel Accomodation by Radisson Blu Plaza Phuket W W W. F A C E B O O K . 90’s
grunge 90s grunge is seriously the best era ever. I accessorise the Tee with badges and my signature chokers! Since I like it oversized, I had my Tee in Large and wearing it like a Tee Dress, then match it with a pair of skin toned pantyhose with two “Xs” smacked right on both knees. Being playful, I added a garter, that is supposed to be a bracelet, on one of my thighs and teased the the pantyhose with a pair of high socks and chloe boots. Writer/Model
