Echos A collaboration with the Field Museum to resdesign their Native North Americans exhibit. The concept ‘Echos’ reflects how Native American history and tradition has affected the current Native American culture, but does not restrict its progress into the future. The space features both historical objects from the Field’s collections as well as contemporary pieces by today’s artists.

3D Section Section of entire exhibit gives context of how areas come together. Flexible open-display systems provide visitors with close interaction with objects. Corner spaces give intimate details of the Native Americans often painful history. Center screens show traditional dances while providing a space for events. Draped fabric panels create a cloud-like atmosphere on the ceiling and disperse towards center event space.

Behind Closed Doors A deeply experiential exhibit on domestic violence. A white, glossy house motif is used to represent the outsider’s perspective. Once inside the house, visitors hear a story by a victim of domestic violence. The outside photo wall reinforces that anyone can experience this type of violence. Museum visitors unknowingly take photobooth pictures in the museum, only to find their faces outside the exhibit.

Lille Huset A retail space designed to showcase designer Alyson Beaton’s Lille Huset dollhouse products. The ‘stimulate reaction’ concept resulted in a series of movable partitions and lighted surfaces. The street level space acts as a retail area and gallery timeline, while the basement is dedicated to administration.

Personal Works From a very young age I dabbled in just about every art there is. The arts are my passion, and these are a few of my favorite physical expressions of that.
