VOLLEYBALL

As we continue to strengthen the Hornets’ volleyball program, the 2022 season proved to be a year of many accomplishments. Led by seniors Mason Howington, Alli Buckler and Fiona Wilson, the Hornets secured a .45 winning percentage, up 20% from the prior year. For the first time in nine years, the team beat rival Calvary twice in the season. The Hornets also won the first round of the GHSA State Playoffs, a feat that has not been done since 2017. The team returns a strong junior and sophomore class and looks forward to continuing to compete with the high-level programs in Savannah and the surrounding areas. Region 3AAA honors included 1st Team Mason Howington and Harris Stone and 2nd Team Ayo Ajayi.
