a letter from the editor Although some believe that fashion trends drastically change each season, the truth is that they evolve rather slowly. Starting with inspiration from politics, arts, and history, trends are born and evolve from color, to material, to design, to runway, and finally to retail. Recognizing that these trends are not new, but are adapted from the past, one can understand the rich history and meaning behind the designs.
