Saveer Biotech Introduces Vermi Composting

Vermibed Compost

Vermibed compost is the outcome or technique of composting using diversified worms, usually red wigglers, white worms and other earthworms to spawn a heterogeneous blend of decomposing vegetable or food waste and bedding materials. Vermi cast which is also known as worm castings, worm humus or worm manure is the end-product of the disintegration of organic matter by an earthworm. These castings have been exposed to contain reduced levels of contaminants and a greater saturation of nutrients than do organic materials before vermi composting.

Saveer Biotech Limited has sculpted a vocation for itself with the debut of its ready to install V-Bed. Vermibed is very helpful for the manufacture of

vermibed compost. Vermibeds are made up of Ultra Violet preserved within high density polyethylene sheets. They are durable, flexible and crack proof. Vermibeds provide for net windows which help in proper cross ventilation. They have a devoted outlet or port to compile Vermi-wash. They act as a protection from termites, ants & mices due to high grade polymer material and produce Vermi-compost, Vermi-wash and Earthworms at the same time. Vermibeds are very accessible to regulate and deviate. Vermibed is reusable and economical as compared to traditional method of producing vermibed compost.

Involving water-soluble nutrients, vermibed compost is a sterling, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner. This technique of generating vermi compost is called vermi composting. While vermi composting is mostly known as a nutrient rich source of organic compost used in farming and small scale sustainable, organic farming, the method of vermi casting is undergoing research as a regimen for organic waste in sewage and wastewater plants around the world. There are two main methods of vermi culture. Some systems use a windrow, which abides of bedding elements for the earthworms to live in and acts as a large bin; organic material is supplemented to it. The windrow method system is a sustainable and cost-efficient way for farmers to regulate dairy waste.

The second type of vermi composting system is the raised bed or flow-through system. In this method, the worms are fed an inch of "worm chow" across the top of the bed and an inch of castings are harvested from below by pulling a breaker bar across the large mesh screen which forms the base of the bed. Since, red worms are surface dwellers invariably moving against the recent food source, the flow-through system wipes out the urgency to isolate worms from the castings prior to packaging. Flow-through systems are appropriate for indoor appliances, turning them into the most favoured option for services in wintry climates.
