I created a rectangle, 5000x10000. I then inserted the block I made from last week into the rectangle
I then offset the rectangle by 300. Then I used the array tool to produce the number of tables then I wanted and how many chairs I want around the table
I then copied the previous work I did, used the copy tool. The reason I have chosen to do this, is that I want to be able to edit it later when it comes to on the layout sheet.
I clicked on layout tab, which allows me to layout my work.
Before I can officially layout out my work, I need to change the page layout and set it to an A1 size. I’m doing this as it will give me more space to work with, as I will be scaling my work to 1:50. Also in future projects my work will be set to 1:50 scale on an A1 sheet. It is also important to note that I changed the style to monochrome as it will be easy to see the work when it comes to printing.
As you can see, now that I have changed the layout, I need to resize the template. Therefore I dragged the template to fit the size of the sheet.
I then created different viewports, of different detailed parts of my work that I would like to show. I also thought it would be good to change the shape of the view ports to make it more interesting, so that the individual looking at my work is more engaged
