WEEK 12 Artlantis Animation – Importing from Sketchup to Artlantis. For our next project, we are constructing a building on a site which is situated near the canal. I have taken different shots. Which I feel give an overall reflection of the site.
The reason I chose to capture this, is due to the canal shot, as this will remind me how important, the building I design, has access to the canal. But also to remind me to consider the visual image of the building I have yet to create, will look like from this view.
After reviewing the site on sketchup, I decided to import this to Artlantis. Whilst on Artlantis, I took a couple of shots which I felt would give an overall feeling of the site.
I then took these images and created them into an animation. However as it takes a long time to create an animation, I had to deselect certain features of the images, such as shadows and the quality of the images. Overall I had about 217 pictures, combined together, it worked out to be a 30 second clip.
