WEEK 6 – AutoCAD What is a Base point? It’s a point where you pick the objects from.

Now that the circle has been selected, I can erase the lines outside of the circle which are not needed.


I did the reverse process, and got erased the lines in the circle. To do this I typed in trim and pressed the space bar twice. I then selected the lines within the circle.

To offset an object, I selected the circle tool, drew my circle. Then typed offset, which then asked me how much I want to offset
