South Carolina Association of CPAs Presents seminars for
Corporate Financial Managers Spring 2010
Lively, informative and fun!
Continuing Education Seminars from Executive Education, Inc. Corporate Accountants From our inception, we have dedicated Executive Education, Inc. to serving the needs of corporate financial managers. Our seminars target financial managers who are not in public practice, a group that includes CPAs, CMAs, MBAs and BBAs, that makes up over 50% of the membership of many accounting associations. Our typical attendee is a key financial manager at a medium-sized company.
Real World Experience Executive Education, Inc. is a collaboration of seasoned professionals. We are knowledgeable, approachable and have more years of “real-world” experience and more years of experience leading seminars than any of us would like to admit. All of our discussion leaders have master’s degrees and usually other professional designations such as CPA, CMA, CPIM or PE in addition. Often our discussion leader is the author of the seminar.
Ample Group Discussion Extensive use of the case method and many opportunities for group discussion will make your seminar experience interactive, thought provoking, intellectually stimulating and fun!
Financial Management Workshop What Public Accounting Didn’t Teach You Every year thousands of CPA’s in transition realize they are not fully prepared for “life after the CPA firm”. New employees want to make an immediate impact on their new organization and organizations want immediate contributions. Economics mandates the efficiency of this process. Employers and employees must mutually make it happen as soon as possible. This seminar will provide answers for accountants attempting to make the transition to the corporate world. Learn directly from the stories of new CPAs who have recently transitioned from public accounting. Four group exercises plus a pre-test and post-test will provide immediate reinforcement of newly obtained knowledge.
Topics Include
Understand the most common transitional shortcomings.
Know the “What and How” of financial management credibility.
Conquer the Gen-Y leadership challenge. Understand the basics of financial statement analysis: connecting the dots.
Learn from interviews with recently transitioned CPAs.
Prepare your own Ten Keys for Transitional
