About SCACPA The South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA) is an active professional association of more than 3,600 CPAs, including 200 accounting students and 200 CPA candidates working together to enhance the accounting profession and better serve the public interest. Membership includes practitioners in public accounting, business, education, and government, as well as business and accounting students. Headquartered in West Columbia, a fulltime staff provides support of the organization’s broad range of activities and services. The mission of SCACPA is to support all CPAs – whether in public practice, industry, government or education – with lifelong learning opportunities necessary for their success, the promotion of high ethical standards and legislative advocacy for both the public good and for the profession.

Who Can Join?

Receive all these benefits for only $15 per year for students or $80 per year for CPA candidates.

Students enrolled full-time in an accredited college of university and are majoring in accounting (or a related field), or an accounting major in a graduate program may apply to become a Student Member of SCACPA. For only $15, join TODAY!

Joining SCACPA is a decision you can make with confidence: the membership dues will pay for itself many, many times over.

CPA candidates may apply to become an Associate Member of SCACPA. The $80 annual dues investment is limited to five years after graduation.The initiation fee is waived upon transfer of student membership to associate membership.

After graduation, update your record and SCACPA will be there as you continue on your journey as an accounting professional. Upon graduation, you can transfer your membership to an Associate/CPA Candidate. Once you become licensed, you’ll transfer your membership into Fellow Member of SCACPA.
