God Makes the World
When God created the world, He made the Sun, the Moon and all the stars. He made the land and the oceans, and all the plants and animals, too. Then, God made a man, called Adam, and a woman, called Eve. God was very pleased with everything He had made.

The Walls of Jericho
In the new land given to the people of God, they came to the city of Jericho. God told them to march around the city, once a day for six days, and on the seventh day, seven times. The people obeyed God. On the seventh day, when the priests blew their trumpets and the people shouted, the city walls fell and the Israelites were able to take over the city.

David Kills Goliath
Goliath was a giant. He said bad things about God and His people. All the Israelites were afraid of him and his army. David was just a boy, but God helped him to be brave and stand up to Goliath. With just a sling shot and a stone, God helped David kill Goliath so they didn’t have to be afraid anymore.

God Saves Daniel’s Friends
Daniel and his friends lived in Babylon, but they did not worship the Babylonian gods. They worshipped the one, true God. This made the king angry, and he threw Daniel’s friends into a large fire. God sent an angel to stay with them so the flames wouldn’t hurt them. God protected them because they followed Him. Daniel 3:1-30
Jesus Stills the Storm
Jesus and his disciples were out sailing on a lake at night. Jesus was asleep when it started to storm. It became so stormy, the disciples cried, “Help us, Jesus!” Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid!” Then, He told the wind and the waves to be quiet, and they obeyed him. The storm stopped and the disciples were amazed.

The Good Shepherd
Jesus told many stories when He was teaching people. He said that He is like a good shepherd and we are like sheep. If a sheep gets lost, a shepherd will search for it until he finds it. Then, he will celebrate with all his friends that the lost sheep has been found. That’s how much Jesus cares for us!
