God Makes the World In the beginning, before anything was made, there was God. He created everything: light and darkness, the skies and the oceans, the sun, moon and stars, all the animals, everything on earth. Then He created Adam and Eve. God looked at all He had created and was pleased with everything.
Genesis 1:1-31
Moses is Born Pharaoh ruled Egypt. He forced the people of God into slavery. He ordered soldiers to kill baby boys so they wouldn’t become too powerful. Pharaoh’s daughter, the princess, found a crying baby boy in a basket in the river reeds where his sister had hidden him. She raised him and gave him the name Moses, which means “drawn out of the water.”
Exodus 2:1-10
God Makes Samson Strong When Samson was born, God blessed him and made him very strong. He followed God and punished the enemies of God’s people. One day, Samson decided not to follow God’s rules and he was captured by the enemies. Samson followed God’s rules again and He helped Samson be able to rescue the Israelites from their enemies.
Judges 13:1-16:31
David the Shepherd Boy David was a shepherd. He took good care of his sheep. He protected them from a lion and a bear. He sang songs to praise God while he cared for his sheep. Even though he was the youngest in his family, God chose David to one day become King and take care of His people, the Israelites.

Jesus is Born Mary and Joseph had to travel to Bethlehem to pay taxes. Prophets said that Jesus was to be born in Bethlehem. God placed a star in the sky to show where He was born. Three wise men wanted to visit Jesus. They followed the star to find him and give Him gifts to honor Him as a King.
Luke 2:1-20
Jesus Loves Children Jesus taught people about God’s Kingdom and Heaven. He also taught them how to live on earth. People thought that children were too young to come to Jesus, but Jesus loved children very much. He said we must believe and trust Him, like children do, in order to be able to enter the Kingdom of God.
