Jesus in the Temple When Jesus was twelve years old, He went to Jerusalem with his parents to celebrate Easter. Jesus stayed in the temple and spoke with the priests. They were all very surprised that Jesus knew so much about God and His Word. In the meantime, Jesus’ parents were searching for Him all over town until they finally found Him in the temple. Luke 2:46

Jesus Teaches People Jesus told people how much God loves them. He taught what it means to be good and to love others. He said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, and blessed are the peacemakers. He chose twelve men to be His disciples. Luke 5:1-11

Jesus and the Woman Jesus talked to everyone — the rich, the poor, and those nobody else cared for. When He met a Samaritan woman, He spoke with her, even though Jews did not normally like Samaritans. He told her everything about her life. He also showed her how to get to know God and have eternal life. John 4:1-30

Jesus Feeds the Hungry Jesus did many miracles. One day He spoke to five thousand people. Afterwards they were hungry, but they did not know where to get food. A boy brought five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus blessed the food and everybody had plenty to eat. After the meal, the disciples gathered several baskets full of leftovers. John 6:11 .

The Good Shepherd Jesus told stories so everybody could understand what He meant. He said that He was like a good shepherd and we are like sheep. If a sheep gets lost, He will search for it until He finds it. Then He will celebrate with all His friends that the lost sheep has been found. Luke 15:3-6
