God saves Noah and the animals
In the days of Noah, people were very evil. God told Noah He would destroy the world. He also told him not to be afraid but build a big boat where Noah’s family and the animals would be safe. After forty days of heavy rain everything was drowned— except for Noah’s family and the animals.

A new world
Finally Noah could let all the animals out of the boat. They spread out on the face of the earth. Noah built an altar to show God how thankful he was. God promised Noah never to destroy the earth again. As a sign of His promise, He put a colorful rainbow in the sky.
God saves Daniel and his friends
Daniel and his friends lived in Babylon, but they did not worship the gods there. This made the king angry and he threw Daniel’s friends into a fire. But God sent an angel to stay with them so the flames wouldn’t hurt them.
Jonah and the big fish
God sent Jonah to the wicked city of Nineveh. “Tell them to turn to me,� He said. But Jonah was afraid and sailed away from the city instead. So God sent a storm and Jonah was thrown into the sea. A big fish swallowed him and spat him out on the beach. Finally Jonah went to Nineveh and told the people about God.
Jesus feeds people
Jesus did many miracles because he cared for people and wanted to heal them. One day he fed five thousand hungry people. There was enough for everybody to eat!
Jesus is alive
After Jesus was dead and buried, some women went out to the grave to mourn him. But suddenly Jesus stood in front of them and said, “Do not fear. It’s me, Jesus!” The women were so happy they ran back to town to tell his disciples.
