Swiss Historic Hotels is the brainchild of dedicated Swiss hoteliers and conservationists, who wanted to promote Switzerland’s historic hotels better. In close collaboration with Schweiz Tourismus and hotelleriesuisse, the organisation Swiss Historic Hotels was born.

The range of partnering hotels is extremely diverse and speaks to people with a passion for history and architecture: some of the hotels are well over a century old. From cosy, intimate spaces, to marvellous grand halls – rest assured that Swiss Historic Hotels has the perfect venue with a unique atmosphere for any kind of event.

Whether you choose the grand hotel in the mountains, a simple historic Inn, or a former monastery on the lake – each Swiss Historic Hotel has its own story to tell and benefits from being in a stunning location.

Top tip: for larger events, the mountain hotel Schatzalp in Davos, the Schadau castle in Thun or the Hotel Waldhaus in Sils-Maria come highly recommended.
