Spring is around the corner and there are plenty of activities and events to enjoy while we await a milder breeze. From gourmet food festivals and mountaintop farmer’s markets to garden trade-shows and jazz concerts – this month will be anything but boring.

26TH VIENNESE WEEK OF RESTAURANTS, VIENNA (6 – 12 MARCH)

The Viennese week of restaurants (‘Wiener Restaurantwoche’) is an absolute highlight in the event calendar for food lovers, restaurateurs and celebrities. It is also known as the ‘gourmet marathon’ – and rightly so. This delicious week tempts guests with irresistible dishes. It should come as no surprise that it’s extremely popular, so make sure to book your table in advance.

ITB BERLIN CONVENTION, BERLIN (7 – 9 MARCH)

The ITB Berlin is back. The live event is one of the world's largest travel trade-fairs, thanks to around 10,000 international exhibitors. It offers fabulous insights into different countries and cultures. A vibrant event throughout.

SKI AND WINE WEEK, GASTEINER TAL (11 – 18 MARCH)

This is a truly special week, also lovingly called the ‘highest farmer’s market of the Alps’. Tasty home-made delicacies are sold at 28 stalls along the snowy skiing slopes. Grab some beautiful local treats such as Swiss cheese and sweet jam, or enjoy a glass of gorgeous local wine in a glorious setting.

GARDEN & AMBIENT BODENSEE, FRIEDRICHSHAFEN (15 – 19 MARCH)

When the garden slowly wakes up from its winter sleep, it’s time to get inspired for the new season. This garden trade-show in Friedrichshafen is the perfect place to do just that. The International Jazz Festival brings smooth tunes to the city of Bern. More than 200 individual jazz, blues and soul concerts will be held at Marian’s jazz room. The very intimate atmosphere at the venue gives the concerts a special touch. Year after year, it not only attracts 30,000 people, but also well-known global jazz icons.
