UNFORGETTABLE WEDDINGS
Meet the innovative Swiss wedding designer duo, Tamara Schindler and Tiziana Gouveia, who elevate dream weddings across Europe with their design atelier GAEA.DESIGN.
In the realm of weddings, two names have taken centre stage: Tamara Schindler and Tiziana Gouveia, the two creative directors, designers and founders of GAEA.DESIGN in Bern. Tamara met Tiziana in 2018 when she needed a wedding planner for her own big day. Co-incidence or perhaps fate? Their aligned design ideas and approach made for an immediate connection so they quickly joined forces and founded GAEA.DESIGN.
With an event portfolio spanning across Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany and Austria, they've already curated an array of unforgettable weddings, each distinctive in its unique narrative.
GAEA.DESIGN is more than a box-standard wedding planner. It is a design atelier with an agency character. The duo and its team offer a comprehensive range of services including wedding and design, floral and graphic design, website creation, and day-of-coordination, all under one roof.
This holistic in-house approach streamlines the process. Clients only have to deal with one point of contact – regardless, if it’s about the planning or catering. This consistency across all aspects is apparent during each wedding. "It is important to us that from start to finish there is a consistently unique atmosphere, an inspiring and visually appealing environment, accompanied by excellent catering and music,” Tamara explains.
“Our approach is in line with our brand name: Everything we create has a specific goal, has a deeper purpose and lasts for a long time,” Tiziana adds. “For us, sustainability applies not only to the materials, but also to the visual result and to the partnerships we cultivate.” e-mail: hello@gaea-design.com www.gaea-design.com
When asked for advice on planning a wedding, Tiziana and Tamara share their top three tips. First, always hire a wedding planner. “There are so many things that need to be considered during an event!” Tamara points out and laughs. “We always say, you won’t build a house without an architect either - unless you are an architect!" Secondly, they advise maintaining balance in all aspects, and, last but not least, remember to let go and enjoy the process as well as the wedding itself - after all, it’s your special day.
