China City of America Sponsored the 2016 Bagel Festival – Local Residents Signed Hundreds of Support Letters for the Education Center Project On Sunday, August 15, 2016, as the Platinum Sponsor, China City of America attended the 2016 Bagel Festival, which took place in Monticello, NY. As the event sponsor and food vendor, China City of America introduced an authentic Asian Fusion BBQ to the festival, which received much attention and compliments from the locals. Monticello, New York, the birthplace of the bagel, and official Bagel Capital of the World, is becoming known not only for the quaint charm of the town, but for the annual Bagel Festival. The Bagel Festival has now become a piece of the pride and joy of the Sullivan Community with many thousands coming to the event each year. China City of America was excited and honored to be a sponsor. The China City team provided delicious BBQ, free gifts and water to hundreds who attended. The guests loved the food, actually many of them were asking about where to find it, the food vendor is from Queens, NY. The good news is they will be in the Food Court after the education center is built. The guests also loved the gifts and shared their opinion of the education center project – it will be great for the local children, the community and the economy. China City of America collected hundreds of support letters at the end of the event. Jeffrey Siegel, founder of the Bagel Festival, visited the booth as well. He liked the food and was happy see many locals supporting the education center project. China City of America’s Education Center project is coming to the Town of Thompson. It will develop a new high-end education community in Sullivan County. The project has entered into agreements and signed letters of interest with high schools, colleges, education institutions and systems both in the U.S. and China of which each of them will provide a great number of students to attend the center. In addition, China City of America’s Education Center project will also help create many jobs in the region and stimulate the local economy. Numerous jobs will be created throughout different phases of the entire project, such as contractors, real estate agents, professors, instructors, cleaning, and maintenance workers, etc. China City of America is proud to be part of the community, to give more and help in any way possible for the future generations to come.
