Coach’s comment: I can expect the team to play its hardest every single night. There are only six girls but they have the heart of a team with twelve players. They want to practice all the

time. They want to be taught new things all the time. They remember what is taught each and everyday. I am not sure what the wins and losses will be by the end of the year, but the guarantee is that we will be hardest working team game in and game out. Also, we know everything we play for this year will be not as important as lifting the spirits of one of our captains that is not playing with us currently, Amanda Zeno. This whole season and everything we do is dedicated to her. She plays the game hard in all capacities, so the rest of the team will do the same.

Top Returners: Emily Bair, Sarah Jacobson and Carrie Sykes. Coach’s comment: To their credit the Sullivan West girls Indoor Track Team has won six consecutive division championships and two Section 9 Class B Championships since 2014, however this year we enter a new era. We are clearly in a rebuilding phase

after the loss of 12 seniors (Including two state-ranked athletes). I am very proud of this inexperienced but hardworking group of young woman. I look forward to seeing there progression throughout Indoor Track and continuing into the Spring Season. Our goal is to continue to develop as a team and be competitive in the Division Championship on January 31.
