Citizens, officials voice concerns over safety of State Route 53 BY ANGIE ADAIR ZAM Editor Community members filled the Bay Township Hall Monday night to discuss Ohio 53, the site of repeated crashes that have in some cases ended in tragedy. In the past 10 years, 270 accidents have resulted in four fatalities in the 5.2-mile stretch of 53 that runs through the township. “We’ve come to know it as a dangerous place,� said Virginia Park, chairman of
