Chadwick Boseman Chadwick Boseman
Chadwick Boseman was born in 1976 at South Carolina. After his life in South Carolina, he attended Howard university, at Washington DC. This university is where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in directing. In 2018 he would even go back to give a speech for graduation, received the Doctors of humane letters, and received an honorary degree. After his life in college, he went to Oxford England to attend the British American Drama Academy. Chadwick has had a lot of work on stage but has had a Huge impact behind the stage as well. He worked on the hip hop theater festival and wrote Hieroglyphic Graffiti, rhyme referred, and Azure. He has also directed plays as well such as Blood Over a Broken Pawn. Chadwick Bosemanpassed away in 2020 of august 28th, from colon cancer. In 2016 he was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer. Chadwick was a true fighter, but sadly within four years it would become stage 4 colon cancer. Chadwick is an amazing actor because as he went through all of this pain he still continued to act within roles, and made these roles became more memorable.

Donations madeIn April 2020 Chadwick donated $4.2 Million for PPE equipment to help black families combat covid. He gave $10,000 to the boys and girls club so that they could see the new black panther movie During the filming of 42 the Jackie Robinson movie. He gave money to Jackie Robinson’s foundation which gives it out for scholarships to students.

Communities helpedChadwicks donation has helped the African American community, Children without homes, and people who have found themselves ill. Chadwick had a huge heart and made sure ti brighten the lives as of many people as he could.

ROLES
It was around the 2000 that Chadwick came out an really started to shine. He had roles such as CSI:NY, Lie to Me, and Lincoln Heights. Around 2012 Boseman played Jackie Robinson in ‘42’ In this role he told the story of the legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson, and the racial injustice that he faced. This was one of his most overwhelming roles because of the importance that he knew the role had. After this movie he started to work on Get on up, where he played as James brown, and showed the struggle that James went though and the soul that brown had in performances. Boseman has honored each role with the up most respect, and it has shown by his performance.

Impact on society These roles have had a huge impact on society. As the Black Panther his character merged together the African and African American community. This is because the movie talked issues that both communities have been facing, and a history that most people have not been willing to talk about. The role Boseman played as the Black Panther repersented black people in a light that they have not been repersented in a correct and appropiate manner. His role as Levee and jackie robinson Told the story of two Black Legends.

Memorial lay out
the Memorial to chadwick is a 24 inch wide glass wall that covers an actual wall. the Glass memorial has a black panther that is engraved inside of it, and if looked close enough there is an outline of Chadwick Boseman face inside of the stars . These is becuase this spot will be used by performers of all kinds. The Main spot is where the Black Panther is because that is where his eyes look down at like he is watching a perfomance.
