SUPPORTING THE ST IVES SCHOOL OF PAINTING Every gift, however large or small, will make a difference to us. Leaving a bequest is one of the most powerful and effective ways to ensure the School continues to thrive for future generations. The St Ives School of Painting is a registered charity. For more than 75 years, it has created a welcoming creative space for all. The world may have changed dramatically in those years but the School enjoys a timeless atmosphere. The loyalty of students like you, who appreciate the value of this magical place, ensure we continue to thrive today. We want to ensure that this special place welcomes students for another hundred years of painting and drawing. Each year we teach and inspire over 2000 people of all ages and abilities. We manage to do this through the support of students from the fees they pay as well as grants and donations. Please help us to continue this work by considering leaving a bequest in your will. A bequest from Alison Holt from Norfolk helped us to house our growing library in a specially commissioned bookcase. Built from salvaged wood rescued during the renovation, it is now a permanent part of Porthmeor Studios for future generations to enjoy. Other bequests have enabled us to improve our studio facilities as well as support projects in the community. Your bequest will help keep our studios running all year round. It will provide special opportunities for people to take part in the School, like our Young Artists Programme. With your help, we can ensure many others discover and enjoy this special place for many years to come.
