The Russian composer Tatjana Komarova grew up in Moscow. After completing her piano studies, she attended the Tchaikovsky Conservatory where she studied composition with Nicolai Sidelnikov who exerted a strong influence on her artistic creativity. Alongside compositions for piano, lieder, and choral and orchestral works, she chiefly devotes herself to chamber music for a wide range of ensembles. In recent years, Komarova has been increasingly dedicated to the promotion of young musicians. She currently lives in Berlin where she manages the music studio ‘Notenfänger’ as well as the ageny Komarova Artists Management.
