Integrated Learning Workshops Students will attend workshops during each term of their degree that offer an overview of strategy and public policy in the healthcare industry. Senior leaders from various sectors such as public hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical device companies, long-term care facilities, public health, biotech, the research community, health insurance, venture capital, patient advocacy, clinicians and media will present their perspectives on the industry and the issues their sectors face.

What to Expect The 12-month Master of Health Industry Administration (MHIA) is a highly specialized 34.5-credit full-time program designed to provide the in-depth knowledge and skills necessary to navigate and manage in a highly complex and competitive field that encompasses business, government, and non-profit organizations. The MHIA combines Schulich’s strengths of leading-edge management education with our specialized expertise in the field of healthcare administration. Building on Schulich’s existing Health Industry Management specialization and graduate diploma, along with a diverse alumni pool and wide range of sector partners, this highly applied professional program will integrate leadership development with a focus on strategic thinking, systems design, healthcare quality, and value-creation.

Applicants must produce proof of language proficiency in one of the three ways listed: • Proof of study completed in English: 2 years minimum (must be full-time study) at an accredited university in a country (or institution) where English is the official language of instruction. • IELTS (academic test): 7.0 (minimum 6.5 on each dimension). The IELTS online Academic Test is acceptable. • TOEFL: 100 (minimum 23 on each dimension). The TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test is acceptable.
