In just 12 months, this intensive program provides you with a combination of technical expertise and effective communication skills. The curriculum pairs core courses in predictive modelling and programming with business fundamentals such as case analysis and presentation skills. Explore the wider contextual implications of unprecedented data collection on governance and privacy.
The capstone of the MBAN is the Analytics Consulting Project (ACP), in which you deepen your understanding of the subject matter and methodologies, as well as acquire experience with hands-on, problem-driven research and application. Working in teams over eight months, you’ll develop meaningful insights to enhance an organization’s success.*
*Students are strongly advised not to combine this program with a full-time work schedule.
Graduates of the MBAN program may be eligible for up to one term of advanced standing in the Schulich MBA.

Students spend two terms completing a “real world”, problem-based analytics project leading to recommendations and appropriately applicable business solutions. By directly interfacing with a sponsoring industry partner, the project leads to the acquisition of technical, managerial, and organizational expertise.

The capstone of the program is an Analytics Consulting Project in which students, working in teams, will spend two terms undertaking a problem-driven analytics project and develop applicable business solutions. They will directly interface with industry leaders and develop both technical and organizational expertise.
The 12-month Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence delivers a unique experiential learning environment, with hands-on instruction in modelling, visualization, data processing, and cloud computing. Foundational business courses and embedded career support equip students to become better problem solvers and leaders.

The immersive curriculum offers a technical foundation in natural language processing, computational methods and modelling, paired with core business skills. Students will explore a critically evolving ethical landscape as they confront moral topics in AI, such as algorithmic bias, data privacy and intelligent agent autonomy.*

Graduates from the MMAI program may be eligible for up to one term of advance standing in the Schulich MBA.

The Artificial Intelligence Consulting Project (AICP) is an intensive, 2-term course where groups of 4 students undertake a comprehensive artificial intelligence (AI) project of an organization and provide business insights to enhance success. At the conclusion of the project students present their work to a panel of at least two experts, including the course director, and to the client site.

The general admission requirements for the MBAN and MMAI are listed below. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission, as space in each program is limited. A holistic approach is taken during the application review process and all components of the application are thoroughly reviewed. Three-year degree holders who have strong results in relevant technical courses and have a year or more of professional work experience in data intensive computing may be considered for admission.
