INTRODUCING
Dee Parker Attwood What are the bridal trends for the 2021/22 season?
I always believe that brides should look like themselves, but an emphasised version. If somebody always wears their hair down, and they’re considering bringing it up, then I would recommend having a trial and making sure you’re comfortable with that. Nine times out of 10, brides want to look like a more polished version of themselves.
How would you approach colour decisions on your wedding day?
With bridal colour, you certainly want to give yourself time for it to be perfected before the day. I would give yourself a week before and give your hair time to be washed at least twice before the big day. A colour consultation is always important with any colour work. Your colourist will be able to make suggestions based on your skin tone, and what you’re comfortable with. They’ll also be able to provide colour recommendations that emphasise the natural texture of your hair. For example, if you have beautiful curls, they tend to be more dynamic and hold better with some balayage work or highlights. What do you love most about the Essential Looks: Love in Full Colour Collection?
It’s been really exciting to work with the colourists and IGORA Royal on this Essential Looks. The colour palette of the IGORA Royal range is incredible. It’s such a diverse range and covers the whole colour spectrum. I also love working on the hair afterwards, as it gives it this beautiful shine and leaves it in an amazing condition. The vibrant colours – particularly Billie’s – help make the styles really stand out, too. 22 | ESSENTIAL LOOKS: LOVE IN FULL COLOUR
