Visiting the Dolmabahçe Museum
Dolmabahce Palace is the largest and most luxurious residence in Turkey: 15,000 square meters built, 285 rooms. A special place is occupied by "Attaturk's Room" located in the former section of the Harem. Here, on November 10, 1938, at 09:05, the so-called "father of the Turks" passed away. As a sign of tribute, all the clocks in the palace were stopped and set to 09:05 after his death.
