One campus One Boarding Community

A glimpse at our Boarding facilities and journey for students at Scots All Saints College

Message from the Director of Boarding The way forward for Boarding at Scots All Saints College is to live and learn together, on one campus. It is with great excitement that Boarding at Scots All Saints College moves to one dynamic community on the Senior Campus in 2022. Thompson House led by Matthew Oakes will facilitate Year 7-12 boys, Galloway House will occupy Year 7-10 girls with Kimberley Jones and Ives House will continue to accommodate Year 11 & 12 girls with Lynne Woodlock. The Boarding team has a deep understanding of the unique

responsibilities of supporting students and creating a family atmosphere, by living together on one campus this will open up opportunities of role modeling and peer support from older boarders. Mr Anthony Le Couteur Director of Boarding

Galloway House extension- girls boarding

Mrs Kimberley Jones- Head of Galloway House Girls Boarding: 7-10 “Boarding is and should be the heart of the school community. It is a place where students must feel valued, supported and respected, enabling students to flourish”.

Mrs Lynne Woodlock- Head of Ives House Girls Boarding: 11-12

“The culture of Ives House is one that reflects the specific needs of senior boarding girls, where they feel valued and supported as they prepare for their HSC exams. The girls are deeply connected by loyal friendships and a sense of camaraderie”.

Mr Matthew Oakes- Head of Thompson House Boys Boarding: 7-12

“A great boarding program offers more than just a place to stay. It’s about creating a space for young people to forge lifelong friendships and grow into responsible and respectful adults”.

The future of Boarding The College has identified overwhelming advantages to locate all boarders back on the Senior Campus: • Ability to board together with siblings in one environment. • Access to a broader co-curricular sport offering including cricket, netball, rugby, Cattle Team, working farm, Equestian etc. • Implementation of a Big Brother and Big Sister program. • Stronger friendships and individual support. • Access to a wide range of Boarding activites, indoor 25 metre heated pool and gym facilities, excursions and trips. • Space to learn and grow with role modelling and peer support from older boarders. • Wellbeing support provided by qualified College Psychologists.

A sense of belonging that builds positive relationships that last a lifetime
