Blast from the Past

Breakout Mysteries

Camp GOTR

Traveling through the decades with music, dance, and activities will be sure to give campers a taste of the past. Some of the fun will include rollerskating, dancing to the Macarena, and creating tie dye. Let’s get groovy and discover all the past has to offer.

Are you ready for an adventure? Just like in the movie, The Goonies, you’ll journey on an adventure or two every day! This is what you get when you mix escape rooms, education, special effects, puzzles, math, magic, acting and movie making. You’ll work as a team in this immersive way to discover such mysteries as the Titanic, Civil War, The Lost Colony, The Turning Test, Houdini and many other fun topics. You must break into their box before time runs out. Each box has many locks and clues that lead to the next and you will have to solve subtle clues, puzzles, and math problems to break into each box. Not only that, but you will star in a few movies high-lighting this unique experience.

Camp GOTR combines the best of Girls on the Run with all the fun of camp! During this week-long session, 3rd–5th grade girls will build friendships in a fun and inclusive setting that includes interactive games, being physically active, and expressing creativity through art & crafts and storytelling. Led by caring and qualified Girls on the Run coaches, Camp GOTR provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for all girls, including girls with a disability, to develop self-confidence, learn life skills they can use now and as they grow, and have fun with friends. This program begins at 8am, an hour earlier than the typical start time. REGISTER HERE: www.gotrcincinnati.org
