The Magic of Movies: Drawing Inspiration from Movies to Make Fantastic Films

Camp Snapshot: This week we will journey into the silver screen and star in our own short shows and clips. Through the magic of apps like iMovie and Splice, campers can bring their stories to life and share them with fellow campers. We will draw inspiration from our own favorite shows and movies and go from storyboard to the big screen. Students will learn about different movie-making techniques, ways to achieve different shots, and how to make their movies just like professionals do. The magic of movies will surely be captured in this pictureperfect camp!

Trading Card Crew

Camp Snapshot: Dive into the world of trading cards! Learn how to play Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Pokémon. We will host a small Pokémon Card Tournament and even visit a card shop!

Wonderful World of Water

Camp Snapshot: Campers will beat the heat and explore some of the amazing water attractions Cincy has to offer. Don’t forget your towel as we soak up a morning of sun at a local park and in the afternoon experience a pool or water park. Summer is a time for swimming, sunscreen, and splashing...and this week will feature all three!

Ninja Warrior Training

June 26-30 | 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Grades 2-6

Instructor: Maura Hoying

Camp Snapshot: This week will include visits to various gyms so children can improve strength, agility, and coordination. A main focus will be completing obstacles like the rope swing, quadruple steps, and warped wall. Meeting real-life ninja warriors will be a plus!

Cheer and Dance

Camp Snapshot: By focusing on conditioning and choreography, as well as the basics of cheerleading, children will be introduced to new ways to dance and cheer. We will focus on some basic cheerleading techniques, learn chants, and master a dance to perform at the end of the week. Gaming Unplugged

Camp Snapshot: Join us for games, games, and more games! No cords required. We will spend the week learning about game design, playing a wide variety of games, and making our own board game. We will also have a chance to visit the Play Library downtown!

Hogwarts Summer Experience

Camp Snapshot: Join us for a magical week of sorting into houses, decorating wands, potion making, spell work, quidditch, and other magical adventures! Beware, this program will feature spoilers from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.”

Secret Cincinnati

Camp Snapshot: Campers will explore Cincinnati’s hidden gems, such as Music Hall, Museum Center, and Eden Park! We will also spend time learning about historic and unique places in Cincinnati and some of the famous people who put Cincinnati on the map.
