Hannah Louise Lamb A View of Edinburgh 4 April - 2 May 2012
A graduate of The Royal College of Art (2004), and Glasgow School of Art (2000), Hannah has exhibited her jewellery internationally. Hannah received a Scottish Arts Council set up grant in 2004, after her MA in London and residencies in Edinburgh, Oakham and India. Hannah draws inspiration from her surroundings. Decorative motifs and colours from wall coverings and interior fabrics, pets, and simple iconic imagery from around the house inform elements of Hannah’s designs. For this exhibition A View of Edinburgh Hannah has taken an intricate look at Edinburgh and the surrounding architecture, taking inspiration and colours from paisley patterns, soft tweeds and tartan fabrics. We are delighted to host this first solo exhibition of Hannah’s work in the gallery.
