During this season, Pastor Jamie’s teaching will focus on motivating and equipping us to reach people in our community who need to know Jesus.
L OV E O N E
The first three messages will focus on the ONE LOVE of God that motivates us to care about and build relationships with our neighbors who don’t know Christ. Because of LOVE, TRUTH AND ETERNITY, we have an urgency to share the good news of salvation with as many people as possible. • God LOVES us and we’re called to share His love with others. • There is one TRUTH that applies to all of us. • ETERNITY is a reality, and where people will spend it matters
O N E L OV E
more than anything.
Pastor Jamie’s second group of messages, called LOVE ONE, will equip us with practical ways to build relationships and clearly, intentionally share Jesus with others. • E ven if we care enough about people to share the good news with them, we often don’t know how to take the first steps. • These six weeks will give us insight, methods, and ideas to actually put feet to our love. • We will focus on building a redemptive relationship with at least one person in our sphere of influence who doesn’t yet know Jesus. roughout this season, as Pastor Jamie focuses our attention on Th reaching out, his messages will continue to have relevance for those who are new to church or faith. You can feel confident to invite friends, knowing God will use the experience in a positive way.

At times, I sat in church listening to Pastor Jamie and thought ‘why am I here? I know I’m going to go out and sin again.’ But I kept coming for my dad. Eventually, I got on my knees and said ‘I’m done, I can’t do this on my own.’
I gradually started listening to my parents and sisters who had encouraged me throughout this journey. I started to talk to the Lord again and began reading His Word. Through it, He told me who I was, and how much He deeply loved and accepted me.

I met two men from Scottsdale Bible who invited me to join a group they had started to study Scripture and apply it to a life of recovery. Until then, I had never read the Bible, much less discussed Jesus Christ. It was a brand new experience for me.
