The mission of Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation is to connect wine enthusiasts to raise money benefiting children in need in Northwest Florida. Since our inception in 2005, we have donated more than $35 million to Northwest Florida charities by hosting world-class wine and culinary events.
These funds have impacted the lives of over 100,000 youth, including those a icted by health issues and abuse. The annual Destin Charity Wine Auction has been recognized as one of the nation’s ‘Top Charity Wine Auctions in the U.S.’ by Wine Spectator for more than a decade.
“We are changing the lives of children. What cannot be overstated is the impact the funds we raise have on our supported charities,” said Karah Fridley-Young, DCWAF President.
The next time you head to the beach, you may notice the 30a Tiny Library book-sharing little boxes filled with free books!
Local mom Victoria Sellers, daughter Olivia, and a “tiny” team of volunteers create, build, and fill the small library boxes with favorite reads for those who are looking for that next good story to dive into while relaxing at the beach.
“Tiny Library visitors are encouraged to borrow a book, read it, and then return it when they are finished, or they can replace it with another book instead. This is a great way to promote literacy, increase the number of books folks have access to, and develop their passion for reading. We’ve also introduced 30A Tiny Art Galleries, which are boxes filled with tiny pieces of local art that guests can take home, as a reminder of the beach,” exclaimed Victoria Sellers.
