IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE EQUESTRIAN WORLD
Spend some time immersing yourself in the Wellington equestrian world. Wellington International hosts the world’s largest annual hunter/jumper horse show from January to March. Saturday nights at the Wellington Equestrian Festival are fun evenings for the family, offering a variety of activities and attractions. From local vendors to a variety of shopping and dining experiences, these nights have something for everyone. You can also attend riveting polo matches in the “Winter Equestrian Capital of the World” every Sunday from January through April. The National Polo Center features brunch and a game, where you will see some of the best players in the world in their prime.

Spend some time seeing the equestrian community and the heart of the village, and you may stumble upon noteworthy architecture. During the winter months, more than 20,000 horses call Wellington home. Wellington is also home to a particularly unique barn noted as the world’s largest 3D-printed structure. From contemporary, luxurious homes to modern farmhouses and stables, the city is full of stunning sights, perfect for an afternoon drive.
EXPLORE THE PRESERVES
Wellington is home to beautiful environmental reserves that offer breathtaking views. Go for a walk and experience the serene atmosphere of Peaceful Waters Sanctuary. The Wellington Environmental Preserve has a unique 3.6-mile-long equestrian trail, where riders can experience the beauty of the Everglades on horseback. Concrete paths, still waters, and vibrant greenery create the perfect environment for a relaxing afternoon.

Wellington has a rich history dating back to its predevelopment in the 1950s. The city used to be known as the largest strawberry patch in the world, with 2,000 acres of farmland. DANCE TO LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
Find your way to the Wellington Amphitheater for a fun evening featuring live bands and music. On Thursday nights from September through May, the Lakeside Market and the weekly Food Truck and Music Series takes over. You can grab your favorite treat at a nearby food truck, and take a spot on the lawn to sit, watch, or get up and dance to your favorite live tunes.
