Let’s Make a

Form 2 or more even teams. As in any relay race, have a starting line and a finishing line. Spread each member of the team about 3-5 feet apart. Each member must toss the water balloon to the next team member. If the water balloon breaks or falls onto the floor they have to start from the very beginning. The object of the game is to send 3 water balloons successfully down the line and into their team bucket.

Raft Building: Test your groups pioneering skills by successfully building and launching your own raft. Tubing: Takes your scouts river tubing or explore ocean tubing. Have fun in the water, but be safe. Make sure that you observe all safety requirements and guidelines.

Doing service projects together is one way that Scouts keep their promise "to help other people." While a Scout should do his best to help other people every day, a group service project is a bigger way to help people. While you're giving service, you're learning to work together with others to do something that's good for your community.

Service projects may help the natural world, the community, or the sponsoring organization. Here are some service activities Scouts can do. Helping the natural world  Pick up litter around your neighborhood.  Clean up trash by a river or stream. Helping the community  Give a flag ceremony for a school.  Make cards for a care center.  Host activity or meal for senior citizens / or young children  Run a toy drive for children’s home or hospital.  Clean up a church or community space

Cub Scout Meeting Activity: Design with your Cubs a character compass using the 16 points of the compass. Identify for each point a character component that they will require in their daily life. Scout Meeting Activity: 

Have each of your patrols prepare a short yarn or discussion on the elements of the Scout Law for your weekly meetings.

With your scouts and/or venture scouts take part in activities that demonstrate Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Respect, Fairness and Citizenship.
