Owl Family Day Saturday, October 17 southern Connecticut state university invites the parents and families of students to attend owl Family day. this annual event gives parents and families the opportunity to visit their student’s campus home, meet with university faculty and staff, cheer on the sCsu football owls, and meet other sCsu families. Adopt-A-Family Food Drive November donate canned and dried nonperishable goods for local families in need. Social Justice Week Monday, November 9 – Friday, November 13 event locations vary daily. Friends of Rudolph End of November – December 6 in collaboration with the new haven police department, members of the southern community are invited to donate a new, unwrapped, nonviolent toy to be donated to children from the local new haven community. Day of Peace December a day on campus designated to promoting peace within ourselves, across the campus, and in the community, nation, and world!
