CONCESSIONS FOR LEISURE COURSES Concessions are available on many of our leisure courses. For instance, if you are aged 60 and over at the start of the course, you may be eligible for a 20% reduction in course fees.

FEES WAIVERED As an adult learner, you will most likely have more financial responsibilities than a younger person. There are several ways in which you may be eligible for financial support: Your fees may be waived if you are aged 19-23 studying for your first full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. National Skills funding may also be available for adults aged 24 and over if it is your first full Level 3 course. Eligible courses only. Free GCSE Maths & English courses if you are 19+ and do not already have a C/grade 4 (or above). If you are unemployed, you might be eligible for free training or a reduction in course fees (T&C’s apply).
19+ A D V A N C E D L E A R N E R L O A N This is a Government loan that is available to anyone over 19, wanting to study a Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 course. To qualify for this loan you must have lived in the UK for more than three years and have ‘settled status’. You pay back your loan (plus interest) when you finish your course and earn more than £27,295 a year. If you successfully complete an Access to Higher Education course and go on to University and complete your degree, then you will not pay back any outstanding loan. Getting here is easy via public transport links from Eastbourne town centre and the surrounding areas. We also have plenty of onsite parking. Situated in the heart of Lewes, our charming campus is a reflection of its quaint and traditional surroundings. We have our Evolve Eco Salon, the East Sussex Academy of Music (ESAM), and well-equipped art studios.

Lewes train station is just a short walk from the campus, and there are regular buses into Lewes bus station from the surrounding area.

Our modern campuses in Hastings are home to a range of fantastic courses. Station Plaza is home to our incredible Hair and Beauty salons (with a Jacuzzi!) and Art studios. At our Ore Valley campus, we have a range of realistic working environments and construction workshops. Our Automotive Training Centre (ATC) is a real working garage.

Based on Denton Island in the heart of the town centre, our Newhaven site is a bespoke training centre, with less of a ‘campus’ feel than our other campuses. We also offer Trades Union Congress Education courses, providing quality training to representatives. The town centre, train station and redeveloped marina are all in close walking distance. HOW TO GET TO US Train Newhaven Town train station is a five-minute walk from campus and has regular trains to Seaford, Lewes and Eastbourne. Bus Newhaven is on the main bus route from Brighton to Eastbourne and has a fantastic service stopping right in town and by the train station. There has never been a better time to gain your GCSEs and improve your employability for the future. We offer one-year Maths and English GCSE courses at our Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes and Newhaven campuses.
Our classes are suitable for adults who wish to improve or become more confident with their Maths and English skills. There are no entry requirements and learners of all levels are welcome.
We offer flexible study, with day and evening classes to fit around you. We also offer GCSE Biology at our Eastbourne campus. GCSEs are an essential qualification for entry to employment, further and higher education, including Access to HE courses.
We focus on Maths and English skills which are useful in everyday life. Classes are fun and interesting. Groups are kept small so that you can progress quickly and can get plenty of support in a friendly, informal atmosphere, with fully qualified and experienced tutors.
